Towel Animals at resorts

When you've gotten a towel animal do you eventually take it apart and use the towel...or do you take the towel animal home?

Usually enough towesl so you don't have to use it. Taking it home would be stealing!

The kids get to use the towel animals. We do not take anything from the room we did not bring with us, unless it is complimentary toiletries.

I can't imagine taking them home either! We just leave them as they are. There are already plenty of towels and washcloths. Some mousekeepers leave them for the length of our stay, others replace them. The last time we had towel animals was in March 2001. On our trips in 10/01, 1/02, 3/02 and 6/02, we didn't receive any. Those trips were in Poly concierge, GF Sugar Loaf, Poly gardenview, and Poly concierge respectfully. Personally, that's fine with me. If we get one some time, it'll be a complete and fun surprise...not something expected.
