Tours for DSs 12 and 18

My 2 sons will be 12 and 18 when we go to WDW this July. We would love to do a tour, but the tours seem to be geared to younger kids or to people over 16 years old.

Does anyone know what would be suitable for us, considering the ages? My sons would go for anything.

Probably your best bet would either be The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains at Magic Kingdom or Epcot Seas Aqua Tour. The tours that go behind the scenes are restricted to those age 16 and over. They have the age restriction in place specifically because of the lengths to which the tours reveal the true "magic" behind WDW.

Other tours like Keys to the Kingdom are more for youngsters.

The Keys to the Kingdom tour requires that you be at least 16, so it is definitely not for children. The Family Magic Tour is geared more toware younger children. We have wanted to take KKTK tour during our last few visits but our younger DD is only 12 and she is not allowed to go. My Mom and I are going next May (without children) and intend to take KTTK then. The trip next week will mark my first trip sans kids. We are going to spend a whole lot more time on atmosphere and people watching, not rushing from ride to ride.

Ha! I did the same thing by typing "toware" instead of "toward"!Sometimes my fingers type faster than my poor old brain can think.
