tours and a few other questions (first time dvc'r)

When will they start offering tours for BLT?
If I want to tour AKL while I'm there in October, do I just go to the resort? Or would it be best to talk to my "guy"?
This will be our first time vacationing with DVC. What should be do while we are there to feel "dvc-ish". We'll be staying at our home resort (ssr). We're so excited!
We do have a little one that just started walking. We think she'll LOVE those donald duck sprinklers! Any other resorts that have a sprinkler place like that? I keep seeing pictures of a pirate ship with water jets. Where is that?

All DVC tours are held at the SSR Sales Center at this time. Each evening from 5-7pm there is a Member's Open House and you may tour the models for AKV and BLT. There are signs at SSR directing you to the models. If you have not taken the full tour at SSR, contact your guide to set that up too - it's worth the time.

You are also welcome to visit AKL to see the resort - but there are currently no model rooms there to view. Feel free to explore the resort and even enjoy a meal at Boma, Jiko or Mara. The Pirate Ship is at Stormalong Bay - feel free to visit BCV to look around (there are no models to see there) but pool hopping is not allowed there or at AKV.

Once Kidani Village opens in May and once BLT opens in September, I expect that there will be some villas at those resorts available to view.
