I did often wonder if TP purposely contradicted with easyWDW because that's a free resource which more people were likely to follow, hence upping crowds... But I'm probably over thinking it!
EasyWDW and TP, although quite popular, do not have enough followers to have any influence on the general public on any given day in the parks.
One of the main issues with best/worst has to do with what you consider to be the best.
There are 2 main kind of guests. Onsiters and offsiters. And within these categories, you have rope dropers and non rope dropers. And within these subcategories you have all different kind of guests who all have a different approach.
The "top" category, onsiter vs offsiter do not have the same best/worst standpoint.
An onsiter will want to use morning EMH because that gives them a 1 hour head start on the general guest, on top of the rope-dropping head start guests get over those who sleep in.
And some onsiters will want to sleep in, so the best park (EMH) for the guy next door becomes a worst park for them.
An offsiter will most probably avoid morning EMH parks, because they will only be allowed in at a time when the lines are already formed.
In that respect, you might have noticed that planning sites consistentely will put the EMH park as a non recommanded park. Because their audience is not 100% onsiters.
With FP+ it's become even more difficult to make a best/worst park prediction. Basically what is a "best" park ? It's a park where you can enter, and ride the big rides with an acceptable wait. Now with FP+ you can reserve rides in advance. I'm not going to start an argument about FP+ pros/cons, I'm just saying that it changes things.
Also, the very important indicator is the overall crowd level.
A best park is only best compared to other parks on that day. And same goes for the worst park
A "worst" park on a 4 day is certainly more manageable than a "best" park on a 8 day.
There is also another parameter, it's the hopper option. We get ultimate tickets so we tend to forget that many guests do not have the option to change parks during the day. And the touring strategy is very different.
There are parks that will be best in the morning, (best for "your" strategy), and another park will be best for the afternoon/evening. But for a non hopper guest, choosing THE best park is a choice made for the entire day.
So many different guests, it's difficult to come up with a blanket statement, and to define a best or a worst.
I've always though that Josh and TP were not contradicting each other. They just have a different approach. Both of which are valid for a sizeable portion of the guest pool visiting that day.
