Touring Plans often makes changes. They've been doing it long before FP+ started.

I've had a subscription for years and they often make changes. Their crowd levels were way off when we were there in December so I do think they're still trying to figure out how to accurately predict crowd levels with all the changes that have been implemented.

They just updated my dates as well and most of the numbers went up.

I received an email today too, for the first week of December. I found it strange that HS went from a 2 to a 1 on 2 different days. Surely 1s are not realistic the first week of December... I am sure it'll all change a few more times in the next 8 months...

I received an email this morning for our dates in November, so they must be updating they're entire database if we're all getting notifications. Though, there's still have 7.5 months before our trip, so I'm sure I'll have several more emails on the way throughout that time.

When you are logged in you can click on a date and select "Track this day". When anything changes they will send you an email.

I got one today for my May 10-19 dates, majority went down. A few went up, I think mostly during Star Wars Weekend.

If you have those dates selected for your Crowd Tracker and you didn't receive an email, then there was no change.

But I will also say, I just tagged these to track a few days ago and thought these numbers were crazy low. Level 5 in June? In your dreams!

I think these new numbers actually reflect June crowds I have experienced multiple times!

We were there during that time in 2013, and the first week of December is traditionally a very slow time, actually. Seeing 1s on the calendar wouldn't be all that unusual. They do a party for Pop Warner during that week in the evening at DHS, and my understanding is that the park was absolutely dead that day because it closed so early. Might have something to do with it.

It's not just that. If you check their weekly blog, it shows that the crowd levels for the past few months have been consistently higher than their predictions. I would imagine they are adjusting everything based on that.

I've been a subscriber for years and always track my trip dates so I'm used to more and more emails coming in with updates the closer we get but there are some drastic changes in this one. Not sure when you are going in June, but we are end of the month and then into July and if you think June is bad .....

To be fair I think the updates reflect levels more in line with what I would have expected. Crowd level 6 and 7 over 4th of July week were clearly going to change and they seem more accurate now, based on what I would expect. In a way I find this reassuring as I might have lost a bit of faith in the plans for the first time in 6 years if they hadn't adjusted then eventually.

I think they are going to have to tweak their system. They do give a resort wide crowd level and those have all gone up in tandem with the park crowd levels so I don't know where that factors in, but it's really hard to predict wait times now so it's going to be interesting to see how they work with this now.
