Touring Strategies for 12?

I'm taking all this information to heart because I am also going with a group of 12. It will be my family of 3, my sister's family of 3, my brother's family of 5, and our mom. We are all very close and don't want to split up too much, but I know there is no way we can all stay together all the time. I have the pleasure of being the planner, ADR maker, etc., which is fine by me because I am a bit of a control freak. ;) However, if everyone doesn't want to do what my little family is doing that is fine by me. I'm just hoping that we are all as close to each other by the end of the trip as we are now.

i say split up so everyone can see & do the rides they want then meet up for lunch or dinner. thats what my family did a few years back when we were a group of 20 & then we spent a day together at blizzard beach & evening at dtd. this also worked more recently for my wdw wedding with a group of 50.

We are going with 12 in March. I keep telling people they can do what they want during the day and then just meet up with the group for our dinner ADR. My brothers answer "But we want to be with you", my parents answer "We want to be with you to help with the kids", my friend's answer "I've never been before, you are my tourguide".

I have our ADR's booked, and also have decided on which parks on which days. I will give this to everyone. My family will try to be at the parks at opening, if anyone else is awake they can join us, if not, they can call me on my cell, or the walkie talkie when they get there.
