Is it worth the $12.99 subscription fee?

We'll be three for 3 weeks in July and August.

I bought it and never used it once while there. You can get the same info for free on easywdw.com and the MDE app

For DW I'd just use easywdw.

For DL, however, I went ahead and bought it- mainly because I couldn't find anything comparable that I liked as much. The menu search function on the app was what sold it to me.

Best of luck and have fun on your trip!

I am a subscriber, but I would say no. That said, there are lots of ways to get discounts on the sub, and if you can get the price down, then I'd say do it. As others have said below, the Lines app is pretty great and the touring plans themselves are very worthwhile.

I used it on our last trip, and I was so happy I did! I previously used TGM and wasn't that impressed. Touring Plans suggests different best park days in a lot of cases than easyWDW. We were there in July and expected crazy park days, but I used the suggestions of TP for which park to visit and it was dead on! The crowd prediction was great - we had what seemed like low crowds for the Summer at every park. :cool1: When we used the touring plan I had made, our day went beautifully. (When I let DS take over, we missed out on a lot, but we still had fun) It also gives you a "lines" app for your phone, and they were more accurate than the signs at the parks for wait times. I'm busy planning now, and it tells you where you might actually save time by not booking the FP+, but it gives you strategy for that, too. I have renewed my subscription for this year.

I liked it, though it turned out that I didn't really follow my own touring plans after the first couple of items. Even so, didn't matter - we got to everything we wanted to do. I really liked the Lines app.

I've been a subscriber since 2007 so I vote yes! I love the Lines app and crowd calendar especially when trying to plan for ADRs and booking DVC...They've never let me down.

I like it. I use it for the crowd calendar to help plan the days. It also includes other important info all in the same place such as park hours, EMH, parades, fireworks. I found a discount code on retail me not. Worth it.

Yes -- been using their plan since the 90s. Love them.

I'm going one and only one day this year -- just one day at the MK and I subscribed just for that. Love to start with one of their standard plan, customize it, and optimize it // really cool for seeing what looks reasonable to fit in and make adjustments. We'll probably play with the line app too. I love their ride descriptions and rating by age too. Always helps me decide what we want to do on our minimal number theme park day or days. We usually just do one or two Disney parks per trip, but with expensive WDW tickets, I think $13 is well worth it to make the most of your day.

It's probably not as necessary if you are traveling low season and spending quite a few days at the parks. I'm such a big fan, though, that I got it again this year even though for the first time ever my theme park day crowd rating is only a 5 OMG. Usually I go to parks with crowd levels between 7 and 10, although I do try to avoid crowd level 10 days now.

We are subscribers and we used it for our trip last year and to help plan our trip this year, too. I'd say it's worth it!

(Hint: scroll all the way to the bottom of the main TP page and you'll find a code for 20% off!) ;)

Definitely... I'm using it right now to plan our next trip. There are valuable things on the web site that you can only have access to if you subscribe. I would say purchase the unofficial guide too but things are still changing as we speak. Three weeks? I am jealous!

Look for the discount code as others have suggested. Also, having had a sub since 2008 which I keep renewing, to date I have always had a discount applied to my renewals.

I prefer the Lines app to any other similar type apps because it gives an expected wait time alongside the posted wait time and anyone who has been and observed the posted times for themselves will tell you that the differences between posted and actual can be significant.

We love touring plans, use it every trip and it has never done us wrong. Look out for discount codes and consider doing the longer subscription if you are planning to go next year or 2016

We have been a TP subscriber for years. I do really like the Lines app. I use their predictions and easyWDW to pick our park. For the first time I am using their custom touring plan builder because we are going during such a busy time late June/early July around the 4th. So far I have really liked it and I think it will help us - the only real problem I have with it is that is often will not keep my FP+ times. I wish there was an option to check to tell the program to come up with the best touring plans while keeping the scheduled Fastpasses - there are sometimes reasons I have picked certain times and while I can understand that might not be the most ideal I would like the option to decide that for myself.

Thanks for your help, everyone. With the 20% discount it only works out at £6, so I may give it a go and see if we find it useful.

Haven't used their service in a while. When did it increase to $12.95?
