We'll be visiting Universal Orlando and staying onsite. With FOL pass and being at a very slow season (12/13 & 14), do we really need a touring plan? Or can we just wing it?

You can just wing it.

Between the shows and rides, there's a lot to be done at USF. Don't be surprised if you don't hit everything. Be sure to get a map and highlight your must do rides and shows when you enter the park. We typically visit all of the rides and most of the shows, but we do avoid Fieval's Playground/Barney/Woody Woodpecker area, and also miss the Animal Actors show. On the other hand, we always spend some time in the Tribute to Lucy display.

At IOA, the only planning/decision is: Do you hurry to Harry Potter to get that done first and then start your loop around the lagoon from there, or do you start your loop when you enter at Port of Entry going left to Marvel Island or right to Suess Landing.
