We are going to Universal for one day in the middle of a Disney trip on November 30th. Our focus is HP and I am trying to minimize wait times. We have park hoppers and will not have EE. EE is at US on this day.

Option #1- Go first to IOA, ride FJ then to Ollivanders for interactive wands. Take HE to US ride Gringott's shop, wand stuff etc. Take HE back to IOA to experience it both directions, shop wand stuff, then go back to US since it closes an hour later to finish out the day.

Option #2- Go first to US, ride Gringotts's, then to Ollivander's. Take HE to IOA ride FJ, wand stuff. Then back to US for wand stuff, shopping.

Not sure if the EE would negate any shorter lines at US Ollivanders versus IOA location.

TIA!

I would go with Option 2. There are more "Ollivander's" on the UO side than the single small room on the IOA side so the wait for that should be less.

You might want to rope drop option #1. The reason is that FJ will be going out on refurb from Dec. 1 thru 18. Many people might hit that line all day long to get it in before it shuts.

Rope drop in the non-EE park is very nice and empty. After you do FJ, Ollivanders in Hogsmead does not have the line it used to now that DA has it, too. And if you really want to get a wand first thing, as soon as you exit the gift shop after FJ, there is a large cart selling wands right in the courtyard.

Thank You, I think this is what we will do in light of the new info about the FJ closure.
