I love TGM! I used it for our Christmas week trips the last few years and it has been fantastic! Hi advice really worked well, we didn't stand in any lines for more than 10 minuteds even going the busiest week of the year. When you consider what you spend on a Disney vacation as a whole, the cost of the AVP is a drop is less than the cost of a counter service meal for your family so for us, it is absolutely worth it!

If you would do a search on Tour Guide Mike - mostly on the Theme Parks Board - you will find lots of discussion on its merits - or lack thereof - there.

I think that mostly you willl find that people really like it, but there are those who have not been happy with it.

I think that it is like most all of the major Disney Planning tools - The DIS, the Unnofficial Guide, Birbaums, the Passporter, etc - they all have good things to give, but you will find people who love them or hate them. But most people gain something from each of these things. You just have to make the decision how much to spend on Disney planning tools.

I loved it! It was very informative. It told details about attractions that might scare children (example: when to cover ears for loud noise). I would use TGM again. My kids were 2 and 4.

I love it! I used to work at WDW and now live in IN and go with my family during the off-season and take DD down and go during the summer as well. I used TGM for the first time this summer and his advice was awesome! We hit the MK in June and the longest we waited in line was 10 minutes. And we left the park I noticed that parking lot was close to capacity. Definitely will use it again! I asked the question on another board about people's choice of TGM or Passporter. I have both for my upcoming trip. I find that I like TGM best for the advice and planning and like the Passporter for organizing and recording all my info.

I too used it to plan our June trip and it was very helpful. I found the boards there to be very good at providing up to date information because many members use it while they are actually visiting the World. The most we ever waited in line was 10 minutes and that only happended twice.

Just came back from July 5 to July 15th
His advice and least crowded park per day worked great. I bought it a week before we left. I would buy again. He has great Ideas and you can put together a schedule that you don't have to adhere to strictly. I would recomend to any one for $20.00 For what you can spend in snacks at Disney its a good deal. It is also fun to use.

The short answer is yes. Mike is active in the forums, responds to emails, and updates the site as new info on WDW becomes available.

Just having come back from vacation. I can say Mike was current with his data. And your not going to get much busier this summer then the week after July 4th when I went. I surf all the boards and I found it less of a hassel to go by Mikes data for the least busiest days and times to visit each park. He has a morning schedule and a night schedule per your vacation days you enter. I doulble checked his philosophies and it made sense as to why to visit various parks on certain days.

Once again I recomend Highly and would buy again
