I've read somewhere about a 20 minute guided tour of Morocco? Has anyone done this? Need more info

I'd be interested too! That is such a beautiful and different Pavilion. I'm sure there is more than what meets the eye.

We did this a few years ago.

We had a very nice and informative guide. Our family of 4 were the only ones on the tour, and he took time to answer our childrens' questions.

He explained a little bit about the country, and then went through all the buildings, and pointed out the architecture and the intricate inlaid tiles. It was quite interesting and impressive!!

It was one of the highlights of our last trip! So much so that my son says it is one of his must-dos this May!

They do have set times - I am not sure if this is the only place to find out but there was a board with the times in the Moroccan Travel Office towards the back of the pavillion in the middle area before the entrance to Restaurant Marrakesh

It is a beautiful pavillon

I just did this in December. I couldn't find anyone here who'd done it, so I figured I'd just try it and form my own conclusion. It was pretty good! They were running them at 1:00 and 3:00 when I was there, just show up at the time of the tour (actually a few minutes beforehand). It started with some information about the country, then he took us all around the pavillion, including into the resturaunt. Not surprisingly, there was some "see what we have to offer-don't you want to come back and eat or buy some souveniers?" But it wasn't at all heavy-handed, really a very interesting tour-and the price was right-free!

I thought the travel and tourism counter was turned into a resturant? Or is there a new one now? So my question is, where do you ask about/show up for the tour? My Husband is really looking foward to this tour.

Is there anywhere to find out prior to arriving, the times the tours are given? Are they available every day?

I'll bump this up so that someone can give some more information about this. I'm interested to know more too.
