Used both TGM and UG for our trip last July, also subscribed to RideMax. Good info. from both TGM and UG made RideMax unnecessary. When it came to really planning our days, we followed TGM's advice to the letter and it was awesome. We never stood in line more than 15 minutes the entire week we were there - July 1-7, easily one of the two busiest times of the year. I highly recommend the TGM way.

I use both the UG and Tour Guide Mike. I have to say that I love TGM's info as to the "why" and his best days. I will always use BOTH from now on. They are not always in agreement either. Good luck and have a great trip

Having used both, I have to say that I totally trust the UG's Touring Plans site and for the price, it can't be beat. All of the other stuff that TGM offers is offered for FREE on sites like wdwinfo.com and allears.net so save yourself some money and trust in the UG, because it's never let me down.

We subscribed to TGM and really liked his touring plans and crowd info. I have to agree though that a lot of his information is out of date and he doesn't respond to emails. I sent him a message about an update to a price for a character event and he didn't respond or update. I know he's busy touring but those details are important to people planning their vacations. Smiley Tour Guide Mike should live up to his image!

Unofficial Guide...

I've used UG and TGM - for different vacations. I found both to be excellent - in each case we avoided lines and used fast passes. Really the difference is in "style."
