Trying to remember what the name of the place is called where you go there and they bring you on a tour of different movie sets- like Jaws, etc ... We did this about 20 years ago, and I'm wondering if they still have it- it might be different now, but am just wondering if it's something we want to do. I know it wasn't a place with rides , per say- more just a tour.... Can anyone help?

oh my goodness! How things change! Do they still have the old time stuff there?

If you saw Jaws then it must have been Universal. But even 20 years ago they had a few rides like Back to the Future and ET.

LOL good Lord I'm old- maybe it was more than 20 because there were NO rides. It was Jaws, some stunt shows- can't remember for sure what else we saw, but definitely no rides.

Back To the Future: The Ride opened in 1993. The E.T. Adventure opened in 1991 so if you didn't
see either of those then it's been more than 20 years since you've been to Universal.

Perhaps you remember the Miami Vice show - it's now WaterWorld. The western stunt show is gone,
now The Plaza. Jaws and Earthquake are still on the tour. King Kong has been replaced by a King
Kong 3D "experience". If you were there prior to 1991 (when E.T. opened) you will not recognize
Universal at all except for some of the Tram Tour. You will experience an almost completely new
park.

Was just getting ready to post something like this.

Jurassic Park: The Ride turns 20 years old this summer.

Jaws is still there on the Tram Tour. So is earthquake. Sadly the original King Kong set burned down and is now replaced with a 3D simulated Kong experience the tram drives through. Very kewl but not the same as the original robotic Kong.

Wow A lot has changed since we were there last 18 years ago. I remember Jurrassic was so new back then. LOL When was the fire? Just curious.
