Temp had been dropping steadily since the official high of 60-something just after midnight. I showed up late at USF, 10:00-ish, not having enough energy to make a third consecutive rope drop. Even so, Despicable Me was posted at 30 minutes. I headed over to Fast Food Boulevard for an early lunch at Cletus' Chicken Shack, then caught a showing of Animal Actors. Walking past MIB and Fear Factor afterwards, I noticed that "King's Cross" lettering had been added to the train station sometime after my visit two days ago, when that building had no lettering on it. I could see through the Peek Here window that "Leicester Square Station" lettering had been added near what I believe will be the entry archway to Diagon Alley. That also was not there on Monday.

Park-hopped to IOA and now the temp was down around 50, maybe. Spider-man only 10 minutes...was 30-40 on Monday (and they weren't doing single rider then, either). Walked up to JP and boarded an empty boat! I got only some minor splashing at the big finish, but at least the splashdown spectators weren't disappointed by an empty boat. By this time it was down into the 40s and the wind was getting serious. Ollivanders only had 1 or 2 shows' waiting time. (The chosen kid did not speak English; the wand master continued with his normal presentation although presumably the kid could not follow any of it.) The rain had resumed when the show let out, and it was getting even colder so I decided to pack it in. Had some pizza at the Red Oven on the way out -- absolutely first rate, make every effort to have some if you can.

i know how it suxs to have it cold or raining when at the parks.
that happened to me earlier this month.

i did the JP boat when it was cold.
only 2 on it so we didn't have much of a splash at all when we had the drop.

but, it sounds like you still had a fun time there!

thx for sharing the updating on ph2.

Today is going to be the worst day this week...cold and rainy all day.

We almost made an impromptu trip this week to avoid the cold in New Orleans - really glad we just stayed home.

I know how disappointing those cold days are. Not a fun day for coasters!!!

That must have been a weird Ollivanders show. I betcha it's not the first time though!

Even though it was cold and drizzly we ventured out. So glad we did. Rode everything at island of adventures between 10&1245. Had lunch. Now have three things left at universal studios plus the parade. This definitely beat the heat and crowds!

i just pulled up accuweather for orlando.
said it is 51 right now, 70's for tomorrow and 80's for saturday.

that is great weather compared to what i had there earlier this month!

It was a bit odd. Years ago, I saw the same thing when someone from Brazil was selected at the Horror Make-up Show. But at least one of the presenters knew some Portuguese, so that actually worked out pretty well.
