Any news on if the TOTWL will remain open for all DVC members? We are visiting in Sept, but staying at BWV. It would be nice to visit the lounge for drinks and fireworks.

going to be there in Sept too and would love to go to TOWL - but don't think so - it quits even before August 31 - think it is Aug 25

In my opinion, one of two things will happen. Either DVC will continue allowing access to TOTWL for DVC members staying at other resorts or they will close it. I was there during the last week of July and it was still suffering from attendance. We went up to the lounge one night around 10:45 and there were two people in the whole place. Maybe free drinks will generate some interest!

I was just up there last week and the lounge was definitely busier than in years past. About 40 people each might when we arrived for drinks around 9:00 pm.

I did ask the CM who escorted us up and he said he is checking in abut 100 more people each night so he has seen an increase...what he did not know is whether or not this was translating into more revenue which was the whole purpose.

But, we enjoyed it, especially because of my TIW discount !!!! It's a great way to end a day!!

had a TIW card and never even used it at ToWL - boy feel dumb - oh well live and learn.

We are spending almost a week in a GV next year and won't be going in to the parks every day... one day in each park... and will most certainly take advantage of the lounge! I can't wait for a Pina Colava

I can see them having DVC Member nights with reservation required, but I don't think they will ever open it up to ALL DVC members every night.
I can also see them offering a appetizer or dessert buffet for a price for DVC members on certain nights as a ticketed event.

The only time we've ever been there we were in a crowd of about 30-40 - a mix of couples and families - mainly for Wishes!

I think this is an awsome idea! Our home is BLT and love to go there! Would hate to see it go! We are willing to share with all DVC members to keet it around!

I just got home on Monday and I went up on Saturday and it was packed. I wanted to get a drink but I would have missed the fireworks. I had my TIW card on me. Didn't know they took it. That's good to know.

I hope they extend this! Dh and I would definitely go up on our next trip (end of Sept.), buy a drink (or two) and watch the fireworks.

I sure hope they extend it to all dvc members! I am going next May and we are a party of 6 that definately would use it for at least one night.
