What current attraction is ToT closest to? I'm just trying to picture the best way to find it.

Also do you think ToT will help to more evenly distribute crowds between DL & CA? Last time we were there DL was always much more crowded.

Thanks!

ToT is in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot just south of the Hyperion Theater and east of the Animation Building.
It is almost impossible to miss as it is so tall. In addition, some are speculating that the line will wind all the way back to the Sun Court, and possibly beyond (anyone remember lines going back half-way down Main Street after the opening of Indy?).

As for if it will more evenly distribute the crowds, there is no way to be certain, I would guess that more APs and ParkHoppers will spend time in line for ToT, but then most will head back over to DL (of course this is all my random speculation with no bassis on any fact or experiance). There may be an increase in one-day admissions to DCA (that is what the Suits would like), but personally I don't see the one additional E-Ticket as full justification for the $49.75 (but again, that's just me).

<font color=navy>Like Maliboomer Mike said, just head over to Hyperion Theater to get in line for ToT. I'm hoping that it will more evenly distribute the crowds, and that some take advantage & go in the Animation Station - that's a great place!

I remember when Indy went from Adventureland - down Main Street, to Frontierland to the Golden Horseshoe, back out to Main Street, and then through to Adventureland -- four hour waits in the early days.

what is really going to make things tough is that there is currently only one way in/out of the area. I hope they have extra CM's there for crowd control. And design a "moveable que" for the over flow, that I am sure will stretch past the hollywood backlot enterance.

The crowds did not feel evenly distributed when I was there from the 30th to the 5th. They had TOT open a lot, we rode twice in a row on the day before if officially opened. Did not need a fastpass and waits were less than 10 minutes. DCA was not crowded any day we were there but DL was packed! That Wednesday was really a zoo for midweek. Could not figure out if it was because of TOT, late spring breaks or Cinco de Mayo. One weird thing I noticed this trip was that Indiana Jones was not crowded for the most part. Waits usually around 25 minutes when Splash Mountain was 90 minutes or more. That surprised me because when we there in October Indiana Jones was always packed. We ended up saving our fastpasses for Splash Mountain.
