Sailing: Fantasy 7 night to Eastern Caribbean

We're booked for the DCL Jost Van Dyke "Beach Transfer" excursion. The whole-day option was not available for our sailing.

Pros/cons of keeping this versus doing our own excursion with a private charter company? Aristocrat has no availability, but others may.

We're two adults plus a 4 y.o.
