My parents who live in Canada will be traveling with us to Orlando this November. They have never traveled to Florida and we have never had to have a need to research prices between YYZ and MCO. We live in Dayton Ohio.
Prices over the past several weeks on Air Canada and WestJet have been around $259 CAD$ each way plus fees and taxes per person. Today the prices dropped to around $159 CAD$ each way plus taxes and fees per person. We are flying to Orlando on Nov 20 and returning on Nov 30. Are these fairly good prices? Air Canada is about $805 all inclusive and WestJet is about $885 for two people. These are all direct flights.
These flights surround the US Thanksgiving, but I don't think that woule have much of an effect on prices for flights originating in Canada?
Any help is appreciated since we really don't have any idea what to expect price wise. Our flights are usually in the $400 US$ range out of DAY for two people.
My mother also asked me about Air Canada, they have only flown WestJet in the past on the few flights they have taken. What are the differences? She mentioned something about WestJet having personal entertainment for each passenger, not sure what Air Canada has to offer?
