This is September not April..
Heard there was a tornado watch for Dearborn County Indiana..
Stay safe Hoosiers..:)

We have one, too til 9:00. My SIL is freaking out because her kids went to a football game and Doppler Radar is showing a storm hitting that town at 6:56.:(

Anybody that is in the path needs to be careful. It's a nasty storm.

My prayers are with anyone in the path of this storm. Please check in when you can and let us know you are okay.

I saw a few west of where I live. Right now were are just under a sever thunderstorm warning. It isn't pretty out no matter what. Stay safe everyone.

Helenabear and all, massive destruction all around but we escaped unscathed. We were in Seymour at the new Home Depot when the weather hit up in Indy. We had considered going up to Menard's where we usually shop but did not. Someone was watching out for us.

Thank you for your concern, especially Elaine. I was touched by your thoughtfulness. You are one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Your heart must be 3 sizes too big as opposed to the Grinch who has one 3 sizes too small!

A tornado (category F2) did touch down about 20 miles north of where I live in southwestern Indiana about 11:00 a.m. today. Thankfully no one seriously hurt, but saw on the evening news that there was much property damage, including a mobile home park.

A tornado hit just a mile from where my aunt and uncle were visiting, outside Indy. A usual 20-minute drive home took almost an hour and a half because of all the closed roads.

My husband took almost four hours to get home from work because of traffic. It usually takes about 30 minutes. There were still kids at school at ten o'clock tonight.

I am so glad to see many postings from my Hoosier friends and especially glad to hear that they are alright. Hope to hear from many more today. While it seems that there were no deaths, thank God, and a few injuries (have not heard that any were serious) there has been substantial property damage and it will start to really sink in today.

Knowing that our DIS friends in other states are thinking of us is most gratifying. Thank you all.

It is nice isn't it.

Linda, I've seen the news and from here it looks horrible. If you need anything let me know.

Dear Serena

The only help I could use today is finding my mind. Seem to have misplaced it somewhere. LOL

I know that feeling. LOL

Good to hear everyone is okay. My best for all those affected by the storms.

Dear Dan

Sure glad to hear from you although I was a bit disappointed as I was looking for a 'crack' about my lack of a mind. LOL

Hope you did not get any bad weather up there by the lake.
