We are huge fans of Disney but are doing an ABD this summer!:cool1:
I can't for the life of me decide between the Mid-Atlantic and Wyoming tour. I want to book soon for next summer, in the next two weeks if I can, but can't make up my mind between the two.
I have a DS10 who is learning American History this year (is doing a report on the Lincoln Memorial as I type) so I'm totally jazzed about taking him to see this tour.
On the other hand I have a DD who will be six at the time of the trip. She's quite tall and athletic so I'm not so worried about the walking, on the other hand she and DH LOVE horses and anything to do with the old west.
DH is easy, he loves horses but he also loves history so I'm sure he will be happy regardless of where we go.
I'm leaning more toward spirit of America but wonder if anyone has any experience with 6 year olds on this trip.
Or would you recommend Wyoming!
Thanks in advance

Booked Spirit of America for June 20, 2008!
One of the determining factors for me was airfare. From our area (checked Austin and San Antonio) it cost more than twice as much to fly to Wyoming than to Pennsylvania!
Plus, when I asked my kids for a vote my DS of course said, Philadelphia!
My DD six says, "The one with a swimming pool and ice cream!"
Well gosh that could by anywhere, couldn't it. ;)

You will not regret the trip!!!! Tell your dd that in Philly Franklin's Fountain has great homemade Ice cream!!! And the swimming at The Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia will be right up her alley! LOL! A huge indoor water park!

I'll finish posting my trip report this weekend -- it is taking me a long time to put my notes into a form worth reading!!! LOL!

We can't say enough good things about the trip!!!!
