Tori and Dean- Anyone watch?

Somewhere in the last 3 or 4 chapters of the book Tori just mentions "3 children"... however this was all before Stella. She never did mention the adoptive daughter at all so I am wondering who number 3 was? Was it the adoptive daughter?

Did anyone else catch her reference to 3 children in there?

huh, don't remember the reference - just her talking about his "children" and then only referring to his son. Maybe he has another child from a previous marriage that he isn't close with? Not with mary jo?

Being all Hollywood and all, I guess I wouldn't really be surprised if they ended up splitting up. But I do think they are cute together and put on a very good show of being in love and happy together.

Some of you have posted that Dean is "creepy" or gives you the "creeps, etc. I'm just curious, could you explain what it is that makes you feel that way?

Yeah, he's creepy. Someone so devoted to his new family with the shadow of abandoning his old one always following behind him. The speed at which he created a new family out of scratch is astonishing.

I'm going to go back and see if I can find where i read that... it might make more sense if i re-read it!

Ouch! I think there might be several people out here who have been married twice. I know I have, and I'm a good person.
:)

Sorry - it wasn't a comment regarding their worth as people, only in their marriage track record, their seeming lack of consideration for their spouses at the time of their affair, his lack of concern as to the welfare of a child he was planning to adopt, and the general track record of Holywood marriages in general.

okay... page 264 at the very top she writes (she is talking about getting the bed and breakfast renovated and this is all while she is pregnant with Liam. I don't even believe she was pregnant with Stella when she wrote this book so maybe she is just reading into the future and predicting another child.... OR... she is referring to the adoptive daughter... or something else, I dont know..)

"...........It was springtime. I had a perfect husband, and I was going to have a baby. It was easy to flash forward to strolling the land with Dean while our three kids tumbled along side us. It all made sense . . . except, that is, when it came to waiting on guests hand and foot at all hours every day."

Apology accepted! I know exactly what you mean....
:) :)

Do you think she was just daydreaming that she would end up with three someday? Maybe that's how she sees herself in the future... Just a thought.

Yeah that might be it. I wondered if she was just dreaming into the future.... i dont know. When i read it, it kind of caught me off guard!:confused3

OMG! I had to read this like 20 times before I had any idea what this meant. :rotfl:

FYI - She spells it "ShannEn" - wierd
My sad attempt at humor! :lmao: Since you were joking that you knew so much about Tori, I saw your name and thought "oh my, it's Brenda" LOL!! ShannEn D. Not sure how to spell her last name, but you know who I mean ;)
I had the book in my hand at Target just a bit ago. I put it back down. I want to read it bad, but didn't want to pay $17 for it. My Target bill was bad enough. I did look at the pictures in the book. Made we really want to get it.

Wow, thanks for looking it up. I don't have my book and I was really curious. It sounds like it might be a fantasy of what she wants for their future. I'm pretty sure she wasn't pregnant with Stella when she wrote it since it didn't come out until she was around 7 months.

I'm having a hard time with people thinking Dean is creepy because he had an affair. Do you all think Tori is creepy? Is her not having any children permission to have an affair? Yes it was a bad situation for everyone involved, but you don't leave a marriage of 12+ years for a one night stand - clearly there had to have been some problems in their marriage. And judging from what Tori wrote in her book about Charlie, it sounds like they had some good times but moslty not so good.

I said I thought Dean was creepy, but it has nothing to do with him having an affair. He just gives off a" slimy creep" vibe to me, can't figure out why exactly.

Yeah-me too. I am not sure why but I am feeling the creepy vibe. Maybe it is all his sexual comments. Plus he sort of plays alot to the camera and I can't really explain why it bothers me so much. But Tori---I love. She is a trip. I would love to hang with her.

I do not watch the show but caught it one day while channel surfing. I really need to know do they really call their son MONKEY? Is this just an occasional pet name or the name they always call him?

Does anyone else think this is insane? Is this a nickname he will enjoy in school? Will this name help people take him seriously at a job interview?

Experts thanks for your input.

I call DD monkey or monkey toes all the time.
No it isn't insane, and what does a job interview have to do with a childhood pet/nick name?

I was another who was nothing but annoyed by TS in the past (particularly in stuff like Lifetime movies), but caught an episode of Inn Love last season and something about it sucked me in, so I started watching. I now DVR the new episodes to make sure I don't miss them. It's oddly riveting.

:confused3 It's just a nickname/pet name. And no I don't think it is insane. It is obviously said with love and I find it endearing and sweet. My father called me Pumpkin and my DH calls me Smooch. And I managed to turn out alright and have even had a job or two. Have you never had a nickname? Or called someone else by a nickname?
