Tori and Dean- Anyone watch?

I do not watch the show but caught it one day while channel surfing. I really need to know do they really call their son MONKEY? Is this just an occasional pet name or the name they always call him?

Does anyone else think this is insane? Is this a nickname he will enjoy in school? Will this name help people take him seriously at a job interview?

They use the term pretty frequently, however I don't think it's odd at all...it's a cute nickname for their child. And while I don't know them personally, I do feel pretty strongly that they won't be telling Liam's teachers to call him Monkey in school. "Hello this is my son, Monkey McDermott."

I was called "Pumpernickel" as a kid because I had a ton of freckles and looked like pumpernickel bread. It was just a nickname.

I said I thought Dean was creepy, but it has nothing to do with him having an affair. He just gives off a" slimy creep" vibe to me, can't figure out why exactly.

Yeah-me too. I am not sure why but I am feeling the creepy vibe. Maybe it is all his sexual comments. Plus he sort of plays alot to the camera and I can't really explain why it bothers me so much. But Tori---I love. She is a trip. I would love to hang with her.

I wasn't replying to you guys, more so another poster who did say that leaving his wife and children and establishing a new family so fast with another woman was creepy. Sorry to that poster if I'm putting words in your mouth just making it clear that that's what I was responding to.

This is one of my favorite shows on T.V. They do appear to be "in love", to be soul mates. If they are not REALLY "in Love" then they are the best, most under paid actors in the biz.

Regarding Dean...I do not get the "creepy" vibe from him at all. He seems to be very genuine and love his wife and all his kids very much. I know being cheated on is something that one never truly gets over. However, when two people fall in love and find their soul mate it is hard for me to judge them.

Reagrdless of our marital status sometimes someone just comes into your life unexpectedly. It would be better to first seperate before starting a new relationship but I do not think that Tori and Dean should be persucuted the rest of their lives for wanting to be happy. They are after all just human.

my girls, one is Punkie....short for pumpkin as she was born on Halloween and my other baby is peanut and she is itty bitty, I see no problem.

I just watched the episode where the woman came to their house to give them a consultation on pool furniture. She asked what they envisioned for the back yard and Dean said something like me and my wife nude. OK, funny to say to one another but in front of a complete stranger? Even the poor woman put her fingers in her ears and went "la,la,la".

I would be mortified if my husband said that to a stranger we were doing work with. I guess it is reasons like this that just up the creepiness factor for me.

My oldest is sweet pea and my youngest is boog! She always had a runny nose when she was a baby. I don't call her that anywhere but home. I know she will get to a point when she will hate it and ask me to not call her that anymore but for right now I call her boog and she answers to it.

I totally agree with all of us...I'm actually bummed that this week is the season finale. Maybe they will do another season? Hope so.

I also do not get the creepy factor from Dean...which is the reason behind me asking why others get that vibe from him.

Ok today I read a few more chapters of Stori Telling - about her 1st wedding - and how & when she met Dean.

Let me just say that if what Tori writes about her wedding is true then her mother isn't just a stuck up Beverly Hills socialite snob, she's truly evil & has something out for her daughter. If my mom had pulled half the crap Candy did I wouldn't speak to her either!

I agree....even if Tori exaggerated, it sounds like her mother really gave her a hard time on everything in her life.

Taped the Marathon over Labor Day and have had some fun watching all the shows back to back as I unpack (we moved this weekend). They are indeed a cute couple. I said it before Liam is ADORABLE. Always a smile on his face.

I am not done with all the shows. Looks as though her mom never came to the hospital as she was having Stella...kinda sad.
