Tori and Dean- Anyone watch?

I think the doctor wanted to bust out laughing when she went on and on about 'pooing'.:rotfl:

I watched Inn Love until comcast moved the station to the next tier. We should be ungrading soon so i'll be able to watch again.
Anyone know what happened to the Bed and breakfast? Did they sell it, or did they jsut hire someone to manage it?
I believe they were only leasing that home. Like a lease to own deal. When the home's owner told them someone else wanted to buy the house, she gave them the first option to buy. But, they couldn't afford it and had to give it up and move out.

It was pretty awful how he left his first wife with a two month old baby. However, I watched So NoTORIous and it was absolutely hysterical. That's a show that should come back!
Oh man! I soooo wanted to hate that show. But it was hysterical. :rotfl2: And it showed me how funny Tori really is. I was quite surprised.

I wanted to hate her, too, but I started to watch the show in reruns and really liked them. They seem so normal - they argue about money just like we do! =)

I don't know the specifics about their previous marriages and children because I just started to watch but I DO want to read her book. My library didn't get a copy so I will watch Half Price.

Tori's mother Candy is a smart lady for giving Tori only a tiny fraction of the wealth. This drifter, Dean McDermott could swoop in and take it all! Candy is better off leaving the money to the grandkids.

I don't agree with that. Candy just bought a multi-million dollar condo and has plenty of $, why would she not want to share with her kids? There is plenty for all of them, including the grandkids. Candy just seems selfish to me. And if I was in that situation, I would be shocked and upset too! I'm sure most people would have expected more and/or your mother would be more generous.

I also enjoy the show. I think they really do love each other.

I also don't agree with Candy being a smart lady...I think she is off the wall myself.

It is very evident (especially if you read the book) that there is no monther-daughter relationship between them. Both of the Spelling kids were raised by a nanny and Candy had very little to no relationship with the kids. Her father Aaron had the realtionship with his kids and he did what he could and knew how to do. It sounds like the mother was jealous the the father was close to the kids and I think it carries forward to their current relationship...

I like the show and really like the both of them. Can relate in a few ways so they don't seem villianous to me.

I want to read her book - I'm glad it's good!

These two make me ill. As someone whose life was rocked by infidelity, I can't stomach this show. Dean is such a wonderful father, blah blah. Leaving a young son and NEWLY ADOPTED daughter for "true love" Tori?? Apparently, they were MEANT to be together, no matter the pain of tearing two families apart.

I have a different context in viewing this behavior, as I have the experience of being devastated by a cheating husband who then left me and our only child, to live with his adulteress, and is now 700 miles away. Suddenly I was a single mom with no job skills, no JOB, and my entire life, my sense of safety, my whole outlook on the world, was GONE in the blink of an eye.

Marriages break up all the time This made me

(((Lady EMT)))) :grouphug:

You know I think of Dean's ex wife, Mary Jo (who happens to be a gorgeous lady) and I think that she really lucked out as Dean is no prize. He's attractive and funny but I think he's creepy too. She is so better off without him. Tori on the other hand might be funny and cute but she's terribly immature & I am only judging her by what she wrote in the book about Charlie and her mother.

I am curious(not enough to read the book though) but what did she say about Charlie? As someone that knew him I might be able to tell if she is being truthful or not. He really is a nice nice guy with a great family.

Thank you, NY Disney fan! I think you may be right about her lucking out by being rid of that particular piece of work. The public humiliation must have been hard for her.

I was reading on another board about the episode where Dean was flirting with the young hot diving instructor right in front of Tori and she was upset and worried. As well she should be.

Also, I now have a great job I love, after going back to school (and now, continuing that schooling) and awesome friends and co-workers whom I would have never met if I hadn't had this happen to me. Not saying I would WANT this instead of my husband and the old me, if I had had a choice, tho. Only that I got through it and am a better person.

Ok, one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was she said that she was glad she married Dean because he had a "good nose" and she wanted her children to have good noses. If I was Charlie and I read that I would be awfully offended, not that there was anything wrong with Charlie at all! Secondly, she said she "won Suzanne in the divorce". One of Charlie's friends. That's disgusting. Its like she's saying she took something else away from Charlie. Its like, leave the poor man alone.

Also, regarding Candy, even if Candy is a total witch she has no right to talk about her in the book and then expect Candy to have a good relationship with her. Tori is clueless! She portrayed her mother as Maleficient at the time of her wedding to Charlie.

Ugh. Part of me thinks well you played with fire(EVERYONE that knew him was on him when he started dating her) In fact he stopped being in touch with everyone- she didn't allow it(AND HE FOLLOWED HER!!) But really he thought it was real. He was head over heals- thought he found his soulmate.

But really he never ever dated in college- at all. My husband was :rotfl2: when it was all going down the phone here was ringing off the hook from the "CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!??!!"He was inexperienced to say the least. And I think he got taken advantage of and now made to look like a loser- which he isn't. He was when he was with her-but not now. or before her.

I have no respect for her or Dean. They are two self indulgant ego centric d-list stars that deserve each other.

Oh and on the nose didn't she have a NOSE JOB??

I'll have to catch the show next time it's on. I'll go to Oxygen and see what the schedule is.

I think Charlie is better off without Tori and her emotional baggage. I think Charlie will really be the happier person in the end. The things she said to him in the therapist office was just cold.

It could be that Dean and Tori are right for each other because they are surface people and not deep people. Her mom is just twisted in my eyes.

Well, I haven't read the book so I don't know. But, maybe she wrote what she did to facilitate some sort of communication with her mother. You how some people, no matter how you try, will just not listen to you. Maybe this was the only way she could get her mother to listen. I mean, obviously she wants some sort of relationship with her because she is crying about it in almost every episode. Anyway, I'm just throwing that out there.

What did Tori say to him in the therapists office? Was this in the book?

What about her brother, Randy? Does she talk to him? He wasn't at the birthday party. She doesn't mention him.

I wonder that also. I also wonder if there is any way to read her Mothers blog...

I like the show. I think Tori is hysterical. I love how she was worried about her baby poking through her uterus and damaging one of her organs. She is so off the wall. I think the show is cute. Oh, and the one at the book signing and her uncle came. It was a little spooky how much he looks like Tori's dad!
