Just got back from the movies. It was hilarious. We loved it. And you were right, the ending was eyeliner's nightmare! I must say though that since I had been forewarned by you, I just stared at the EXIT sign in the corner of the theater and hummed "Jimmy Crack Corn" in my head until it was over. Yes, that is my anti-blubbering coping mechanism!

Anyway, it is a wonderful movie. Laugh out loud funny, terribly clever, and poignant, and definitely a worthy ending to the trilogy!

Tom says if this movie doesn't get any Oscars, he'll be shocked. It was that good!

We are big movie quoters in our house, and already there are a few lines that have crept in -- I used one of them at the pool tonight when Connor wasn't listening to me.

I have to know which one it was!!!

I have some girlfriends that I can convince to go.

If I have to and everyone else bails, I will go alone to cry my eyes out.

that's the sign of a good movie...it you can cry and laugh it's kinda theraputic!
Like Steel Magnolia's or P.S. I love you.....both caused me to go into the "ugly cry" one minute and laugh hystericaly the next.

Watch it!!! It is my fav disney movie since Nemo. You will cry a little but you'll laugh more and feel great at the end.

I'm so jealous that you were able to get to TS3. We are taking Brady to it for his first movie because he is absolutely in love with TS. Whenever he gets mad at us he shouts "YOU ARE A TOY!" He must think that is the worst insult one can bestow. We are going to wait out the crowds probably a couple of weeks. We saw Up on a weekday in the morning a few weeks after it came out nad we were one of three families there so hopefully we can recreate that.

Jordan, I went alone to see it. I think I was the only one alone there. I was about 45 min early and the theater was already packed. I went to the midnight showing after I got off work at 10:30. It ended up being a sold out show. I thought of you during the Despicable Me preview because the character has a fart gun.I cried too. It think it is my favorite of the Toy Story's. I LOVED it. I am taking my dd to see it soon too.

I've been a little MIA, but trying to check in here and there. I loved TS3!!! But it is definately very touching in some spots - lost childhood, my kids' lost childhood, little girl in tutu and boots made me miss my granddaughter.
DS25 posted on FB that he had "salt from the popcorn" in his eyes. Who knew we could love those toys that much?

Yes, when I saw the little girl with her yellow rainboots on, I thought of Chelsea because she had a pair just like that she used to insist on wearing everywhere.

Funny. I love Connor, and I don't even know him.

I am glad the references, yet to be seen and heard by me personally, were overlooked by him. My personal opinion will still probably be that Disney could leave them out of a G rated movie and it still be every bit as good.

WooHoo on your one month away. We are at about a month and a week!!! We have the same idea as you---lots of lunches, 2 breakfasts, and with me as pregnant as I am, many of them are buffets

I think you are the second person who saw the movie (oh yeah - Wigd saw it) and I can't wait to see it and I don't know when it will be or even who will go with me. I think I have to stop counting down. Now, that I am in the twenties, it seems that the countdown is slower. When do you start to pack? Also, do you feel like you are counting away the summer? I am so excited for our trip, but then school will be back around the corner. UGH- the good, the bad and the ugly of being a teacher.
