Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

That pinata did look different than the one I thought Connor had "bargained "for but I also thought " How may pinatas can he have?".
:rotfl2:

Is it terrible that it looked "strangely familiar" since it was from the Mexico pavillion?

I cry when I read these reviews. I may have to bring the big box of tissues.

I about died laughing when I pulled the pinata out of the bag. To answer your question, Connor now has two.

Big box of kleenex might be a good idea. ;)

I think I know what part you're talking about and yep, I was crying then too! Jared is already talking about a TS4 hoping that the adventure continues!

Connor said the same thing.

Really, the adult references weren't plentiful, just a couple of things that I noticed. It probably wouldn't have even made an impression on me if I hadn't seen the "ascot" thing in the trailer - I went in with my radar up!

Sending you a PM now :thumbsup2

Got it! :thumbsup2

We are going to see the movie this afternoon. Considering the way I am over anything that makes me think of my baby growing up, I'm sure I'll be blubbering as well! Thanks for the warning!

Anytime! :goodvibes

You have to wait until Monday to talk about it! I'm going to try to convince my friend who is going to New Orleans with me to go see it sometime on Monday as a relaxing treat!!! LOL!! I know there are other things we could do...but I want to see that movie so bad LOL so we'll see LOL!!!!

Glad the movie lived up to your expectations!!! I'm very excited!!!!!

I really think the will be the perfect treat for you after the test! Good luck!

I've heard from others who loved Toy Story 3 as well. We'll probably go see it on Monday. Can't wait! Although, I'm more excited about it than the boys. :sad2:

The boys will feel differently after they see it, I am sure!

Hey Jackie!

Yeah for 1 month!!!

Ok so DH and I are going to TS3 in about an hour- we tried to go to an earlier showing and it was sold out so I pre-bought our tickets for the 5:15 show.

Andrew decided to go with his friend and his family because they were seeing it in 3D- I don't really like movies in 3D so I told Andrew I was kickin it old school -he just rolled his eyes at me!. It will probably be better anyway that he doesn't see his mommy bawling like a baby. Seriously, when I saw an early preview when the mom says "Andy's going to college" my heart dropped into my stomach! Being a parent of an Andy who also grew up with Toy Story, I know it is gong to be a tear fest. I hope DH knows what he is in for!!! I have taken off my make-up and packed the tissues. In saying all that I cannot wait to see this one!!!

It was very hard to see it with the 3D glasses on because I had to keep taking them off to wipe my eyes!

Did you love it as much as I did? I am sure you cried a lot having your own Andy!

you know....i missed that time of the month........

oh wait.....i'm a guy....i've never had a "that time of the month"...;)

:rotfl:

Just got back from the movies. It was hilarious. We loved it. And you were right, the ending was eyeliner's nightmare! I must say though that since I had been forewarned by you, I just stared at the EXIT sign in the corner of the theater and hummed "Jimmy Crack Corn" in my head until it was over. Yes, that is my anti-blubbering coping mechanism! :rolleyes1

Whatever works!

Tom says if this movie doesn't get any Oscars, he'll be shocked. It was that good! :thumbsup2

I have to know which one it was!!!

I am sure it will get the Animated Film one! :thumbsup2

I will PM you in a little bit to share! :goodvibes

sadly the Oscars usually go to some artsy fartsy film most people haven't heard of let alone actually seen.

Well, the animated one does usually go to a Pixar film -- last year it was Up so there is hope. :goodvibes

there's always a first time....

::yes::

Flying to WDW just to catch a summer parade is crazy enough.
Flying across the country for a movie ....
Well there goes our popcorn money

I wish we could see it together. I think we both would be blubbering so loud they would ask us to leave.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:rotfl:

I am afraid to see it now.

Nah, it's good crying, I promise! Very cathartic!

Afaid you are going to lose it? Let me be clear because the term" lose it "to you has other meanings.:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Are you afraid you will be crying so hard you will make a scene?
I doubt it. Pixar makes sure to pull that emotion out of you and then bring on the funny to stop the tears. :thumbsup2

That's exactly what they do with this one, too!

I'm still gonna see it....maybe by myself.

My kids kept patting me on the arm when they weren't sniffling themselves.

I hope I didn't scare you!!!:flower3:
Maybe I can get my family to go. You know the teenagers and DH :snooty: towards such childish things.

I have some girlfriends that I can convince to go. :thumbsup2

If I have to and everyone else bails, I will go alone to cry my eyes out. :sad2:

I have the DVD of UP, never saw it in the theater, and I have not watched it because I was afraid I would be crying.

I haven't seen Up yet, either, because everyone said they cried buckets at the very beginning.

that's the sign of a good movie...it you can cry and laugh it's kinda theraputic!
Like Steel Magnolia's or P.S. I love you.....both caused me to go into the "ugly cry" one minute and laugh hystericaly the next.

Watch it!!! It is my fav disney movie since Nemo. You will cry a little but you'll laugh more and feel great at the end.

That's very true about both of those movies.

I am with Poolrat, I need to see Up.

I'm so jealous that you were able to get to TS3. We are taking Brady to it for his first movie because he is absolutely in love with TS. Whenever he gets mad at us he shouts "YOU ARE A TOY!" He must think that is the worst insult one can bestow. We are going to wait out the crowds probably a couple of weeks. We saw Up on a weekday in the morning a few weeks after it came out nad we were one of three families there so hopefully we can recreate that.

:lmao: That is adorable about Brady and his "You are a Toy!"

You didn't scare me....

I MAY go tonight.

Do it!

Glad to hear you liked the movie so much!

I'm a little nervous about the need for Kleenex. Never mind that I'm a sap normally, I'm also pregnant! That should make for some good cries, eh? :lmao:

Oh, yes, you will bawl, for sure! :goodvibes

Jordan, I went alone to see it. I think I was the only one alone there. I was about 45 min early and the theater was already packed. I went to the midnight showing after I got off work at 10:30. It ended up being a sold out show. I thought of you during the Despicable Me preview because the character has a fart gun.;)I cried too. It think it is my favorite of the Toy Story's. I LOVED it. I am taking my dd to see it soon too.

Funny, I thought of Jordan, too, when we saw that preview! :lmao:

My wonderful teenage son agreed to go with me tonight!!! :cool1:
Now to find those tissues.:3dglasses

Hurray! I hope you enjoyed it!

A fart gun? Where do I find that?

You don't need one. ;)

your back pocket..

:lmao:

This is what happens when I'm not on the DIS all day, isn't it?

Jackie, YAY for being a month away!! I am so excited for you. Glad you loved the movie. It was the best! Aww, I know, I cried too at a couple of parts.

I love Connors toy collection! Love it!

Tomorrow will be 28 days!

We loved the movie so much, we can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

So, my two darling children decided to become movie makers today and dragged my camera and assorted toys out to the backyard.

I am going to let the "teaser trailer" speak for itself.

The "plot" and voiceover are Connor's. The editing and camerawork are Chelsea's.

Enjoy!

(I hope I posted this correctly!)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Ba bum ba bum ba bum!!!! This is tooooo funny!!!! I had to watch it twice!! Great editing Chelsea and Connor's voiceover is the best!!! :thumbsup2
Yay for one month!!! :woohoo:
Love Connor's picture and his "new" friends!! There are some strong looking men in there too! :lmao:
Okay I need to watch that video again.....ba bum ba bum ba bum!!!

Tracy

That is awesome!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hannah heard it the first time I played it and had me re-play it because she wanted to see it. She thought it was "cool". :thumbsup2

that is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Back from the movies and it was a great film!

I was able to keep it to 2 tissues but my shirt was probably wet from just letting the tears roll down my cheeks. The only way I kept from blubbering a couple of times was knowing the funny had to be coming soon, and it did.

There were a couple of young men - early 20's in front of of while we were waiting to enter the theater. They seemed excited and one of them was remarking that he saw Toy story on ice when he was 9.
I misted up many times before the movie even started.
When I heard about the young man and Toy story on Ice :sad1:
When I tried to talk to my son about how he loved toy story :sad1:
Since it was a late show I did see date night- and guys. Yes they were all the right age when the first Toy Story came out.

I caught my son laughing at Mr. Tortilla head. I am sure he laughed more but I was not paying attention to him because I was laughing and crying. I would not be surprised if I catch him playing with his toys that are still in his room in the next few days. Even it is just to "rearrange" them.
I know we still have a Buzz. He tried to take a bath with it once.:rotfl2:

As for Adult references, the ascot was probably the most overt one. Barbie and Ken and Jessie and Buzz both had some banter but both were "character" banter. I think for Barbie it is just the way she is built.

Love the video! Your kids are so creative! But, I'm with Wigd, I want to know what happens next!

I forgot yesterday to say YAY for 1 month WOOT WOOT!!! The month is going to fly by so fast and then you'll be at DISNEY!!!!!!:cool1::banana:

That trailer is GENIUS!! So funny!!! That is great!!!!! :rotfl:

Are we all invited to the premiere?? I think C&C Productions has a big future!! LOVED it!! :)

One month til Disney!! :dance3:

The movie got me thinking about the "animation classes" they used to hold at the now defunct Disney Institute. Your kids would have loved them. Heck, you would have too.

Cindy (DD9) and I watched together. She thought it was really cute. However, it still didn't make her want to go see the movie with me. I might have to join the crowds of soloists and head out myself. It is coming to our drive-in later in July when I'm home from Disney. I just don't know if I can wait that long.

Connor's "creepy" music was cracking us up! LOL!

That is awesome!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Hannah heard it the first time I played it and had me re-play it because she wanted to see it. She thought it was "cool". :thumbsup2

Thanks! I will pass along Hannah's critique to Chelsea and Connor -- they will be so pleased.

that is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Thanks! I laugh every time I watch it.

So is there a sequel? I need to know what happens next!

Oh, yes, they are planning a full-length feature film -- that was just the preview! ;) Chelsea told Connor to write a script last night, and he said to her, "I work best with just improvising it." :lmao:

Yeay! I am glad you were able to make it through the movie and how cute about all the guys there seeing it. You will have to let us know if your DS "rearranges" his toys this week. The tortilla scene had us rolling -- those Pixar people are sooo creative -- they must have so much fun making those movies!

Love the video! Your kids are so creative! But, I'm with Wigd, I want to know what happens next!

Thanks! Oh, yes, they are planning more! ;)

That's what I was coming to say. Tell them they have created a fan base now, so we'll be expecting more, more, more! :dance3:

They, especially Connor, will be so excited. Connor thought it was very neat that I was going to post it on the DIS. I am sure one of the first things he will ask me this morning is if anyone commented.

Amazingly, it took them two hours to film and edit their 47-second trailer. No wonder it takes Pixar years to get a film finished.

That trailer is GENIUS!! So funny!!! That is great!!!!! :rotfl:

Yes, I am hoping for a nice steady ticking off of days until it is time to leave.

Thanks! I will be sure to let Chelsea and Connor know how much everyone has enjoyed "Return to Dinosaur Island."

Are we all invited to the premiere?? I think C&C Productions has a big future!! LOVED it!! :)

One month til Disney!! :dance3:

Of course you are invited to the premiere. LOL! Charles and I cracked up when we saw the finished trailer.

Oh yes, my two would have loved to do the animation classes. They love creating stories.

Why doesn't Cindy want to see TS3???

Love C & C productions!
Waiting for the sequel.

Almost Jurrasic Park meets Lost! with Aliens.

I was waiting for the smoke monster with Connor's narration.:rotfl2:

I loved the trailer and C&C productions! It is great that your kids worked together on something like that. I agree with everyone else that I want to see a sequel.
