Top Secret Pixie Dust! A Surprise 13th Birthday PTR! NEW! TRIP REPORT LINK PAGE 220!

I do messages, too, but it's just harder to find mine.

See ya later,
but you might not see me.

Camo

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: Thank goodness I brought my spy glasses to work today! I so needed a laugh, MeMom! Thanks!

:lmao: I see you! :3dglasses

You had your glasses with you, too!

Mother, you are soooo embarassing! Just kidding - I love your silliness!

Has she always been like this, Jill? :rotfl::goodvibes

:rotfl2: I had to pull out the special spy glasses, but I see you too :3dglasses

You never knew all this spy gear would come in handy, did you? :lmao:

All of your ADRs look great. I love Prime Time, but haven't eaten there in a few trips since I found the Brown Derby. :) Love the pot roast there!

One of these days I'm going to have to try the Yak & Yeti if I can get myself to give up Boma on my AK days. I don't know if I can do it. :lmao:

I think you made the right choice to make this Operation 13 Candles. But I hope you get to do the cruise someday. It's a completely different experience; can't even compare it to the parks. Both are great, but for different reasons, if that makes sense.

Your ADRs sound great; so glad you were able to snag what you wanted!

Hey Jackie!

Yeah, I know I'm late but I do have a 9 week old and busy, busy Madi! Lol.

I plan to take Madi to afternoon tea our next trip!

Almost went with Brown Derby again, but since we have never eaten at Prime Time, and I am so intrigued by the theme, I had to go with that one. I will miss that grapefruit cake and Cobb Salad though.

One day we will cruise -- now that the Disney Dream is about to sail, that will be the ship I want to try.

Hi, Cass!!! No worries! I know your little ones are keeping you on your toes!!! :goodvibes

Jill, do not answer that.

I have poofy hair and glasses pictures of you, and I will use them. ;)

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: Spoken like a true mom! I am going to start a box of embarrassing pictures of Chelsea to use later in life. I have a feeling I will need all the ammunition I can get.

You could convince her to get a perm and then put lovely pink rimmed glasses on her. That would make a great blackmail pictures. I'm not saying that is what Camo did or anything. No. Wait. That is exactly what she did!

And yes she has always been like this ask her about the game "real song or made up"!

:thumbsup2 Excellent choices on the ADR's...love the clues and hints too...you are very clever and sneaky too.

love all the secret agent language...it's like reading the script to Get Smart...:rotfl2:

can't wait for more logging into the mother organization and other Top Spy things.

Stardust out :tinker:

So, you must have made ADRs for your July trip today, right? We'll just miss each other :(

We're missing each other by a few days :sad2:

I did make our July ADRs, but think some may change since this was so last minute. I have to check your AKL TR for some tips for that trip.

Is Connor going to try the Pirate's League? Or is he done with that sort of thing?

Have you decided on a cake?

Jackie,

I meant to PM this cake to you, too. If you don't want to do a huge cake like the ones I previously ordered, you can do this mini tiered cake. I ordered this in July 09 at Narcoossee's. I ordered it through GF Private Dining and it was only $30 vs. $130 for my other cake. And this one tasted better!! Only drawback is that it feeds only one or two people but that was okay with us because we had our other desserts and they did make a big deal about such a small cake!:goodvibes

I had the perm but not the pink-rimmed glasses. I did, however, have the pink high-top sneakers. :rotfl:

Borrow away on all the tips! Make sure you do the folktales around the firepit.

We are debating the Pirates' League -- we may not do it because of something else that keeps wrinkling my plans.

Oh, I like this one, too! Would it be going overboard if I ordered a cake every day? There are too many cute choices! :lmao:

Me too! Thank goodness I have five months to decide.

Thanks! And it was really good! I've ordered cakes in the past and they are beautiful and not the best tasting! :confused3

In the predawn hours of July 29, 1981, my mother woke me up to come out to the living room. Sitting there for the next several hours, I was transfixed by the pageantry unfolding on the television. My six-year-old self had never seen anything quite so glamorous or as beautiful as Princess Diana’s wedding. I watched for hours and hours and hours --everything from Princess Diana’s carriage ride to St. Paul’s through the entire high Church of England wedding ceremony to the Royal Family waving on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. I didn’t budge until there was nothing left to watch.

QV001183.jpg

Thus, began my childhood love of Princess Diana. Here was a real-life princess complete with beautiful clothes and tiaras – she positively captured my imagination. I had books and books about her, and I even had Princess Diana paper dolls that I played with until they were worn along the edges.

As I grew older, I didn’t follow Princess Diana’s life quite as closely as I had as a child. However, I will never forget the moment when with a six-week-old Chelsea, I was visiting my parents, and my dad walked into the kitchen to tell us of the car accident. I was so very, very sad about it.

Now, many years later, my parents, Chelsea, and I are headed to Atlanta in a couple of weeks to see Diana: A Celebration. It is an exhibit of many items from Diana’s life including childhood mementoes, jewelry, dresses, and the Spencer tiara. Most of important of all (in my eyes at least), her wedding dress is on display. Her wedding dress with the entire 25-foot train!!! I can’t tell you how weepy I get every time I think about having the chance to see it in person. I would have been absolutely beside myself at the chance to see it as a child, and to be quite honest, I am still pretty beside myself about the prospect of the whole experience.

Plus there’s a gift shop. You know how I like gift shops and souvenirs.

I need to educate Chelsea a little bit beforehand though since when I did my happy dance about going to the exhibit she replied with, “Who’s Princess Diana?” Clearly, I have not been doing my parental duties as thoroughly as I should.
