Look here, Missy. Not ALLLLLLL of us get to go to Disney for our birthday, a national holiday, AND alone with our DH, just, oh, TWO weeks after our last trip... SOME ONE has to entertain us on the DIS while you are off having too much fun !!!!

Of course I am going to be dealing with my own version of "Chelsea Unplugged" for the next three days, so, on second thought, actually I take that back. CP ... I am with WigD!!! Can you make that update now??!!

Yes, well there is that! We are watching Ratatouille right now. WE had so much fun with Remy at Chef's this trip. We went again. For lunch. It was fun! Nolyn just LOVES him. The CM was great. She spent a good while with us -- too cute.

Trying to pack, you know I am bringing my remaining DIS sweets with me. And yes, the wine.

Now that we are quickly approaching the final weeks before the trip (16 days, BABY!), it's time to start getting some things done.

First, if you remember MeMom, Brooklynsmommy, and Poolrat helped dress Bo up for a birthday greeting. Poolrat also wrote a really cute poem when I switched from Hilton Head back to Caribbean Beach Resort.

I took the pictures and the poem and created a card on Shutterfly for Bo to give to Chelsea. Here's the finished product that came about a week ago.

I also made two countdown chains. One for Chelsea and one for Connor. Chelsea is spending some time away with her grandfather, so when she gets back, she will be greeted with the card from Bo, the countdown chain, and Silly Bandz from Miss Anita Wigd. I set it all up in her room tonight and one of her Minnies insisted on taking part.

Here is Connor's countdown chain. I hung it in the kitchen, so I could enjoy it, too.

There are fourteen links, so we will start the official countdown on Sunday!

Also, I am trying to figure out what to do about a cake for Chelsea. For a few years now, she has talked about how much she wants a Mad Hatter cake. She has even mentioned it recently. I just don't know if I want to spend $120 on a cake that we will have to cart back from 1900 Park Fare to our room at CBR. I am debating and trying to think of some alternate options. I may call the Grand Floridian Bakery and talk to the custom cake person after the holiday weekend. I have to admit, though, that I really like that Mad Hatter cake, too, and I can't help but think how the Mad Hatter himself might react upon seeing it.

So, when Chelsea gets back home, it will be official -- we're heading to Disney for her 13th birthday! (I think she already pretty much knows, though, to be honest. I haven't been the best secret keeper. )

I love that movie (and I hate rodents as a rule )! My favorite scene is the one where Remy goes up to the rooftop and sees Paris at night with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. It just takes my breath away!

Oh, I bet seeing Remy was so fun!!! Hmmm, Chefs for lunch sounds so good! Aghhh! There just aren't enough days in my vacation to do everything I want!

Tough call on the cake. That is a really cool looking cake! But $120... yikes. No matter what you do (or don't do) it's going to be a magical trip that she'll never forget. And I am looking forward to hearing about every last detail!!!

I just think it would be such a great experience for her. I had thought about doing the dessert party, but decided not to, and the price for all four of us would be about the same as the cake.

I am looking forward to reporting back all the details of the trip. I bought a new notebook to use as a travel journal at Target the other day.

You know me too well, Anita! I have been looking at different resorts all day! However, I am almost positive we will stick with CBR because every time I think about switching, I think how much more money that would be. I am thinking I would rather use that money on souvenirs and possibly adding park hoppers. So, no, I am not going to change resorts. (I think.)
