Hey, we can add you to the Great Movie Ride at DHS... Right after Bogart's "Here's Looking at you kid".... Can I tell you Nolyn just LOVED that ride!!?? We rode it (he and I) while Matt and Griffin were on RNRC and he was really interested in it... he wanted to know why the "bad guy" turned into a skeleton when he tried to take the red stone... LOL!!! And he loved the Wizard of Oz bit.

Yea 16 more days, before Disney fun. I have not caught up on my Dis time, since returning from Disney, but it was a wonderful trip. You are going to love the light parade, it will be all you remember, plus the added magic of sharing it with your kids.

Are you done with your pre-trip shopping and planning?

Oh, not at all. I made my to-do list for getting ready for the trip, and it was rather long. I really should start getting things in order, but I am kind of waiting for the two-week mark.

I can't remember which of one my kids I did this with ( maybe both ) but at least once I have fed them in the bathtub so I could hose them down afterward.

GREAT pin lot! We had fun with ours!!! Have two left to trade in October... Couldn't trade fast enough! Have fun with that! I love those little ghosts, they are cute! Great purchases, it is fun to get just a little of this and that along the way, I agree! Neat Elliot pin! I didn't see that one, very bling! He is so cool to see in person!!!

The kids are looking forward to doing more trading than they have in the past. They really enjoyed trading with King Pin last summer at AKL!

Jackie, I cary shout wipes, hand wipes, and clorox wipes, in my mail bag... that way if there is something that needs to be removed, food, cotton candy, mud, ketchup, etc. I can attack it with a vengance... I had to get pizza grease out of two shirts this trip! Is it bad if my own son starts running away when I open up a handi-wipe package??!!!

Too funny! I have this great image of your DS ducking and weaving through World Showcase like something out of one of those action movies trying to avoid the wipe down. I will be packing wipes into my mailbag -- great idea!

I am glad to hear that I am not the only parent that makes her child either wait until after breakfast or take the shirt off. Alexia can be very neat and then other days it looks like she just put her face in the plate and dug in. My dh thinks I am crazy but I tell him he isn't the one doing the laundry. I tell him when he takes over the laundry he can let her wear her clothes when we eat something messy.

So true! Chelsea was always a pretty neat eater, but Connor has always been a whole other story!

On a different note, since I know you're a Language Arts teacher, I wanted to let you know the National Council of Teachers of English annual convention will be at CSR in November. There are discount rooms for attendees at CSR and YC/BC. They're even offering discounts on park tickets. Would your school district pay for you to attend? I've sent an email to my principal

That's always the ride Connor and I do when Charles and Chelsea ride RNRC -- he loves it, and I always get teary-eyed during the film montage. I am such a sap!

I know exactly what you mean about counting down to the trip and at the same time realizing school is around the corner. We go back August 4 and school starts August 9. It was a little bit earlier but they moved it back in an effort to save some money. The new calendar was just approved on Monday.

I like going earlier in the summer, but that's just me.

Sadly, there is absolutely no money in the budget. We had to do a Reduction in Force this year of staff, and they took five days off the calendar. It's tough financial times in education down here in Georgia.
