does anyone know what time on thursday we can book the free dining online? i wont be able to call thursday morning so i hope i dont miss out if i have to wait for it to be online!

The first time I had time to check last year was about 10am and it was there. I suspect it had already Been there for an hour or two.

I called this evening just to go over prices to see if it would benefit me to change our reservation since it is just me and my daughter this year. (We're so excited! It will be our first time)

Anyways, I was very lucky to be able to talk to a very helpful rep who looked up my reservation and told me that the dates for the free dining don't exactly match my reservation but gave me options to think about. My reservation is from November 22nd to the 27th and she said the dates were from November 23rd to the 29th!

She started to work the numbers and I started to wonder if it was already released but she said no, that it won't be released until the 12th. So at least the dates of November 23rd to the 27th are correct!

I'm changing my reservation to the 23rd and it will save me about $500! So excited!

! Just got a call from our TA! She was on hold with Disney checking on the FD for us and was told by the CM that it is being released tomorrow at 7 am! She's going to call tomorrow and have it applied!

And yes I am yelling...a HUGE THANK YOU to Danny!!!! Because of the heads-up
we were able to book a wonderful 7 nights at Pop(our favorite) with FREE dining!!! We are checking in the day after Thanksgiving. This is a dream come true for me as I have always dreamed of seeing it all decorated for Christmas So once again Thank You Danny!!! from our whole crew of 7!!!

If it wasn't for you, Danny, our TA would not have had the heads-up about FD! Because of what you posted, I called our TA earlier this week. They didn't know about it at that point but checked into it and got the confirmation from a CM that the general offer is being released tomorrow at 7 am!

I was looking at Danny's announcement from last year and he did not appear to include dates in Jan-March, but when FD did come out on Aug 3 like he promised, Jan-March ended up being included....Any chance we think this could be the case tomorrow?

It IS Disney, and they everything they do is always "subject to change", so you never know!

I was wondering if anyone could help me...planning on a Value Resort, but upgrade to Deluxe during FD. I saw on the OP, that you would need to add 50.53 per day per adult. My question is how much extra per child per night would it be to go from Quick to Deluxe?

Any help is extremely appreciated!

So I'm hoping to switch my bounceback reservation for November to Free Dining tomorrow, and I can't call at 7 (I have to be at work at 7, and there's no way I can sit on the phone with Disney for a long time that early in the morning at work ). Do you think if I call at 12 all of the Royal Rooms at POR will be booked, that is the resort and room type I really want! It seems like everyone freaks out and calls at 7, is that really necessary? I hope not!

Because the general public offer is released tomorrow, the phone lines will be extremely busy. There were times that Disney's system crashed (per a pp on this forum IIRC) when the offer became available for DIsney Visa card holders. So be prepared for a busy phone line and longer wait times due to the higher number of calls. I know our TA will be having a hard time getting through tomorrow.
