Good heavens, wouldn't that be awesome!
[Deep breathing...deep breathing...deep breathing....]

Just spoke to a cm to change from ro to a package. She said no fd for 2013 in this promo. :-(

I will be up early, if I sleep at all and dialing at 6:59, hoping to be picked up quick and making my change over!!!! ADRs are already made, we are booked in a Preferred at CBR, we are so excited for this! This trip is my DDs Sweet 16 Birthday Present!!!! I can't wait to give it to her at her party in Dec. Now if I can just keep my secret!!!!!

Sorry for any feathers I ruffled with my original question about the Deluxes & the offer dates. :confused3

I'm new to this and only asked to get clarification b/c the Disney Visa FD page http://www.disneyrewards.com/offers/wdwfreedinejuly12 clearly states the Deluxe offer doesn't start until 10/21. I'm very happy to hear the site has the wrong information on it since that will work in my favor.

Didnt mean to ruffle either if i did. I only mean to help and be informed.:)

Does anyone know how quickly Pop usually fills up? I'm a bit nervous about it all as it's my first time trying to arrange this. I already have the two reservations (two rooms) and I just want the dining added. I'll be calling as soon as the lines open but I am just worried about missing out and disappointing the family! it seems like a lot of people booking on the visa promo had to change their resort etc (although I know most of those were mods). Thanks for your help.

It will be a perfect birthday for your dd.....now you MUST keep it a secret (although it could be a good bribery point). :)

I, for one, have already chewed half my nails in anticipation. I wish we didn't have to pay the upgraded ticket prices for this FD deal. I just realized we could technically drop the "park hopper" aspect of our tickets because I don't think we'll need to hop.....but I can't decide if I should or not. It's an extra $121 total for both of us.

When I tried to see if they had a different room available again today, the CM told me that the first places that always fill up for free dining are POR and POFQ. He said to call at midnight for one of those rooms! :rotfl2: he must know me pretty well! I'll be on the phone at 6am CDT trying to get a garden view instead of a river view at POR.

POP is usually the first resort to sell out, but you should be fine if you are calling tomorrow. The reason some of the VISA people were having trouble is that they only alot a very limited amount of rooms for the VISA promo. There will be a much larger allotment of rooms for the public FD offer. All the people that changed resorts for the VISA promo could have just waited and booked tomorrow. Everyone here is very excited about the FD offer, but that excitement creates unnecessary panic IMO. POP was the first to sell out last year, but it took 2-3 weeks for that to happen. So sleep easy, if you call tomorrow you will get FD and everything will be fine! :)

To all of those calling in tomorrow, I hope you get everything you want! The excitement of booking a Disney trip, let alone free dining for that Disney trip, is like nothing else! We booked yesterday and are still glowing. Good luck and I look forward to seeing the excited/relieved posts tomorrow! :thumbsup2

im giddy thinking about the fd tomorrow. im not sure why because i wont check in until 12/20 so i cant get in on it, but ill live vicariously through all of you!

good luck!!!

Not to mention, for one of the free dining promos, I could only get one room standard, one room preferred on the day the sale went general public, but when I called back a week or so later, I was able to switch my preferred to a standard. Rooms open up as people change their minds, or the company releases more rooms.

Hmm. 6:00 AM here on the east coast and nothing on the Disney World website yet about it being available to the GP. Will be calling at 7:00, so hopefully won't have an issue.:coffee:
