Most likely that CM doesn't know what they are talking about. In 8 years of free dining there has never been an instance of one resort category having a different start dates from the other resort categories. Someone has misread or misinterpreted something somewhere. There have been a number of people on different FD threads today saying that they didn't not have an issue booking a deluxe resort for those dates.

I definitely agree with this... "Someone has misread or misinterpreted something somewhere. " I looked at the DV offer dates compared to what the cm told me.... Id trust the offer dates though.

I'm new to this and only asked to get clarification b/c the Disney Visa FD page http://www.disneyrewards.com/offers/wdwfreedinejuly12 clearly states the Deluxe offer doesn't start until 10/21. I'm very happy to hear the site has the wrong information on it since that will work in my favor.

Weirdly enough, a big chunk of Nov. is missing from Values and Mods vs. what is listed in the Deluxe.
Did anyone have problems booking those dates in a value or mod? 11/9-11/14

Until the GP offer for FD! Our TA's office doesn't open unil 10 am, so I'll be calling to get it applied to our packages (our's and my mom's) when it's released. Hopefully there won't be any problems having it applied to CBR.

Is anyone staying at CBR during FD that can tell me if they encountered any issues when applying the offer to their package?

We booked the pirate rooms at cbr for 11/14-11/26 with the Visa FDing yesterday. We were originally booked in a LM room @ AoA, but had to switch to get the promo. No prob booking 11/14 at a mod, though. I think those dates in the chart on the Visa page are wacked out.

If you booked with a TA, you won't be able to call it in yourself. Contact your TA and maybe she will be able to get on the phone from home.

Thanks. That we know, I'm just worried that our TA will run into similar problems that others who are doing themselves are running into. For example, some people are finding that their POR room is not included in the FD offer. They had to upgrade to a garden view room and pay the difference in their park tickets. Now that was just for POR that I have seen around the Boards. It got me wondering about CBR. Hopefully, our TA won't run into any problems applying the discount.

If you get confirmation email id say youre good. My CM i spoke to earlier said for our deluxe resort that the fd started on oct 19 so maybe there are some discrepancies with the start dates. My advice get that confirmation email and youre set!

I have another question. We are going to Disney with good friends. My family is staying at WL and they are staying at Ft. Wilderness Cabins (they're a family of 5) Does anyone know if the cabins are included in the FD? She called yesterday and got the run around. When I called to change my reservation to FD I did ask about the cabins and the reservationist I spoke with said they were included. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks so much for posting, got FD for our trip 11/1-11/6 @POP.

Couple things, I did opt to pay the upgrade for the Regular Dining Plan, which was about $300. I asked how much the upgrade to POR instead of staying at POP and paying the upgrade was, and for my dates only Garden View rooms were available....so we decided against and are staying @POP.

Did stink that it wasn't offered for check ins 11/3, we chose to drive 11 hours to get free dining and check in 11/1 rather than fly and not get free dining 11/3...never had free dining before, hoping we made the right decision!

Lastly, I appreciate whoever posted about the Disney Visa getting first access. I'm suprised (and disapointed) that I didn't get an email from Disney Visa at all (so far) about the promotion. If I wasn't on the Dis, I wouldn't have known!! So thanks for posting!!

I hope that the rooms open up when the General Public offer comes out Does any one know if only the Garden Rooms will be the only rooms offered for FD for POR in November? We are checking in 11/11 for 9 days with 4 rooms.

I think there is something that people don't understand on how these promo's work with Disney.

There are certain rooms at each resort that are set aside for the FD promo. When you have a prior reservation you have a different room reserved. When you call to have FD "added" to your reservation after it comes out they actually move you into one of the FD rooms if there is one available. All the people that makes early reservations hoping for a discount really are accomplishing nothing, they still have to "fight" over the allotted FD rooms the same as someone without a prior reservation. Sometimes certain room types are not included in the FD promo or a limited amount. In this case the limited amount could be filled by people who got the PIN code.

For example, I have the FD PIN code with a direct link to the WDW site to book online. I played around with various scenarios to price things out and see what was available. Up until yesterday I was able to book a LM room at AoA with FD. Yesterday I tried to see if I still could and the option was no longer there. This is obviously a case where they had a few rooms allotted and they are now all booked which is why the LM rooms won't be included in the GP offer. You can however still book a rack rate LM room for the dates in Dec. that I was playing with.

To address your concern, I wouldn't worry about CBR. It seems to be the resort they are always trying to fill (it is the largest) and I would guess the majority of the 2500 rooms are available with FD.

You are correct. 7am Eastern.

I believe it's 7am Eastern time.

This also isn't as big a panic as some people are making it out to be. We've gone the last 2 Decembers on FD and there were still lots of rooms available right up until the end of October. There really is no point to getting up in the middle of the night to call. We are still deciding if we are going to WDW this December or somewhere else. It will probably be August before we decide and we will have no problem getting the room we want with FD at that time.

Keep in mind they only alot a few rooms for the VISA offer. Just because they are booked up for the VISA offer doesn't mean there won't be rooms available for the GP offer. I believe that POP usually books up the quickest of the values. POFQ books up the quickest of the Mods because it is the smallest. The other Mods will have rooms easily available.

According to the wording, the "campsites" are not included. So the cabins should be. THAT SAID...it might depend on the CM doing the bookings, how they understand it, AND...if there's availability.

Some resorts fill up quickly. Usually the ones for which it is a good deal to get FD, such as the values and some configurations of the moderates, OR popular moderates.

You can get deluxes with FD, but many times the deluxes are a better deal if you get a good room discount.

so quick question..we booked with 2 rooms with FD Pin for POR AB in May for Oct. Do they know which rooms we will be in as of now? or is there a specific time ahead that they assign rooms? Just wondering how that works. I never understood the FD room thing. Do they put you in whatever room in AB they want or because we were before the Visa and GP offers they will put us in the closer proximity rooms and so on and so forth for incoming FD families?
