We have a short trip this week and want to see all the fireworks/ night shows at all the parks which means we will only see wishes once.... unless we somehow make it to the Top of the World Lounge on time for wishes one of the days (my friend didn't buy park hopper ticket so this would be the only way). Do they stop letting people up at a certain time? It's no big deal if we miss the first few minutes of it, but I don't want to try to rush over there especially if there is a cut off time. Also would it be easiest to try to get there on time from Animal Kingdom after Jungle Book or Epcot after Illuminations? I know it will be hard but am curious what others think.
Thanks!

They stop letting people up when the lounge reaches capacity. You should be OK in that aspect?

More people can fit on the monorail, so I guess I would try it from Epcot.

In April I watched Illuminations from the bridge between England and France. As soon as it was over I walked to BC/YC bus stop, got on the MK bus then walked/ran to BLT and up to the TOTW for Wishes and a nightcap. Perfect end to the day.

Was so LOOKING FORWARD to going to TOTW this past trip. We had a great dinner planned at Kona, which we made, but youngest DS did not feel well:sad2:, so certainly wasn't going to drag him on monorail, etc. We instead went back to Tokeleau and we watched them from there. ALWAYS a next time!::yes:::goodvibes

I think the outside deck holds 400 so it's probably rare that it reaches capacity.

Sure to be another time, aren't we lucky?

We enjoyed seeing the fireworks from the Poly villa too!

We ended up not even trying. Lightening during Jungle book (which was cancelled I was so bummed!) and Illuminations. Didn't know if it was going to rain by the time we got there/ if there is a covering/ if we can watch inside. So next time!

The TOTWL is comprised of an outdoor observation deck and the actual lounge (bar area). The lounge has floor to ceiling windows (on the MK side) and the soundtrack is piped in (to both the lounge and deck).

Sorry the weather caused things to not work out as planned.
I think it is hard to view the fireworks from inside except for the few tables right by the building.
