TOP Must Eat Restaurants?

You can also get Y&Y with the Landry’s Select Club card. It is basically free because of the credit on your first purchase. Plus the birthday bonus is good to set at a specific time if you often go to Disney on a specific time.

Our kids are about the same age as yours and we're foodies too. We've been almost every year since 2016. Our favorites:

Table Service:
Sanaa
Jiko (just reopened for reservations)
Flying Fish (also just reopened)
Le Cellier
Wine Bar George (limited menu but if you're foodies you'll be ok -- charcuterie, a few entrees)
Citricos
Jaleo
La Hacienda de San Angel (good margaritas)

Quick Service:
Harambe Market
Sunshine Seasons

Have heard good things about and will try on our next trip in March:
Morimoto
Satu'li Canteen
Columbia Harbor House
Docking Bay 7

Thank you!!!! This is a great list.
Yes we love Morimoto and I’m also looking forward to try Homecoming in DS.

Do look forward to hearing your feedback on the new ones you try.

Boma (lots of great flavors; look at allears review)
Oga’s Cantina (book closer to end of trip)
Flying Fish
Topolinos breakfast
Topolinos dinner
Be our Guest
Steakhouse71
Space220 lounge
Ohana only if they go back to serving hot skewers

For Quick service you can try ABC commissary if they have their seasonal shrimp curry on the menu, otherwise shrimp tacos are ok. We love Satu li. Landscape of flavors at Art of animation has a revamped menu.

For breakfast we order some items from gardengrocer so we can eat quickly and head to the parks. Occasionally we will get waffles/eggs etc from QS.

Topolino's and Boma for breakfast (I heard good things about Topolino's but hadn't been - wow, it was super worth it).

Thank you so much for this list and tips!!!

It is worth it because you get to eat in the castle. Our first time eating there was post covid. I was able to get some great pictures of the inside of the castle and from the castle and of the Cinderella statue because we were there prior to park opening. And the food was actually really good-not as bad as others said. I don’t know if it’s cuz they had to change the menu due to Covid, but it was worth it.

Not because of covid. We've eaten breakfast and the occasional dinner at CRT for around 6-7 years and have been baffled why most say it's awful. It's not fabulous but better than adequate. I'd say a bit less tasty than GF Cafe or 'Ohana, both of which we consider very good.

Geyser Point is a new favorite for us. Terrific sandwiches, and a great place to see MK fireworks.

Trattoria al Forno and Topolino's are superb. We ate both breakfast and dinner at TaF last fall.

Ale and Compass and Yachtsman are excellent as well. We think Yachtsman much superior in atmosphere, service and quality to either Steakhouse 71 or Le Cellier.

California Grill is an absolutely must do. Ask for Beckey, one of the best servers on property.

The chicken and brie sandwich at the GF's Gasparilla Island Grill (aka Gaspy's) is marvelous.

(And now, I'm hungry despite it not even being 3:00 a.m. I'm blaming you. 😁)

Our favorite WDW restaurant is the peerless Victoria & Albert's to give you an idea of our "foodieness."

Does the name Peter Luger ring a bell, then? Marvelous steaks and traditionally surly servers. Although, perhaps we triggered that asking for the famous sauce to be left after the salad plates were cleared.:ssst:

We were both delighted to encounter Jack of V&A's working at Steakhouse 71 last fall. Perhaps you recall him? Anyway, he told us they'd been advised that people would be called back in January and February for a proposed early March reopening.

Sadly, we're fearful that the reopening has been put off longer. Not that we planned to go back so soon, but without V&A's, it felt like the heart of the Disney restaurants was gone.

My daughter is Cinderella obsessed so I was thinking of trying to get a breakfast reservation there but I read somewhere that post-covid, Cinderella just comes out and waves. Is that the case, and if so, is it still enough of an "experience" to be worth the gigantic price tag?

Yes, Cinderella only strolls around the perimeter of the dining area, does a little dance every so often, waves and gestures.

We were among the earliest breakfast ADRs, so she came about 8 ft from our table and tried to chat some with us and a nearby family with young kids. It didn't work very well, particularly since we were accustomed to how much fun seeing the various princesses for actual meet & greets was.

Odd that I was so disappointed despite being aware that it was likely a covid precaution. Seemed dumb and cheapened the overall experience. No idea why there couldn't have been at least a couple more of the usual princesses.

I wouldn't advise taking a child there until it's more like pre-covid. Really not worth the money except that eating IN THE CASTLE is still an inexplicable thrill. (Same for BOG which we consider a one-and-done, having done it a few too many times for no better than the food is.)

We are going to try some new to us restaurants on our trip the 1st week of March along with one of our long-time favorites.

First, breakfast at Boma. Will be interesting to see how it compares to our previous trips. Next we have a breakfast and dinner ressie at Steakhouse 71. Then, instead of our usual 'Ohana dinner, we will give Sebastian's Bistro a try. Will be our first time at Caribbean Beach and will wander over to Riviera after dinner. Our last dinner will be at Amare at the new Swan Reserve. And finally, instead of our traditional Bon Voyage return home breakfast at Trail's End, we will be trying the skillets at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Leaving in a few days and can't wait!
