Alex lied again!! He told Tom in the kitchen that he cou;dn't get beef cheeks and used beef shank instead...then in the challeneg he said his dish as "beef cheeks". I can't believe Tom didn't catch that. Alex needs to go. I suspect the producers have kept him for the drama he creates.

Seriously?! I half-watched the show, have to catch the re-broadcast. He does have to go! I did catch the previews for next week--bring on Restaurant Wars looks like a doozy!

Tiffany is becoming one of my favorites. I can live with who was sent home tonight. I am not sure the right one was sent, but I am OK with it.

However I was happy to see Angelo's face when he was not called in. His ego huge and he thinks he is top dog in the room. He needs to step it up if he wants to be "Top Chef".

That really impressed me too. Many times when they have immunity, they blow it off, but she took it serious!

I am very happy that Tiffany won. She seemed to be actually having fun cooking! I was surprised that Ed was in the bottom 3 - I thought it would be Amanda.

I figured Alex was going to stick around to provide some drama. Stephen didn't have much personality. I think last night's decision was influenced by the producers.

BUT sadly I wanted Alex OUT OF THERE ... I know he was responsible for PEA GATE ... he needs to leave. Period. One of the Chef/Judges (maybe Tom, maybe the guest Judge) said his meal was a "nightmare" ... then why didn't you send him HOME ... ???

I agree with you all about Alex- but he does provide some drama- so I think that is why they keep him. I hope he is gone soon!!!

Kenny got robbed! Amanda hasn't cooked a good piece of beef yet and she is still there?

I don't get the judges. Amongst themselves, they totally bash Tiffany's fish and then at judges table they say how great it was? What the heck!

I agree that Kenny had to go. SOOOOOOOOO tired of hearing him spout off about hos GREAT "the beast" is. He hasn't put out anythng of any note since day one. Besides that, as Exec Chef he IS responsible for their loss and BOTH dishes he made were no good. Also, his attempt at throwing Alex under the bus (who I have no love for at all) showed immaturity and a pettiness. Even Ed kept mum when Alex stole the puree. That's class. Kenny is a big jerk who needed to go away.

I was sure Amanda was going home. I think the Alex thing really does provide drama but ultimately that hurts the credibility of the show. How come Kelly's dessert was not mentioned. They all raved about it but all they talked about was the soup.

I was shocked they did that! I was hoping someone would make a comment about the pea puree on the dish tonight--maybe it would have given a hint as to who really made it two weeks ago

I think it's inexcuseable that an idiot like Alex is still on the show and Kenny is gone.

I'd rather hear him talk about himself being a beast than hearing that creep and the way he spoke to the staff. I'm sure it will NOT be comfortable for him in the Top Chef house from now on.
