I think all of these guys get plenty of notoriety even if they don't win it all. I predict that great things will still happen for Mike (and many of the others).

ITA. I would love to eat something that any of them made!

I can't believe Richard made fois gras ice cream instead of Captain Crunch. I would totally eat that!!

I'm so glad he won! I was trying to figure out who won by their little camera confessional/narration bits. I wonder how they film those? You'd think if they did it afterwards that the loser would have a hard time caring or not showing how sad they are.

I'm glad that Richard seemed on an even keel this time, none of that "I hate my stuff" nonsense.

I'm a little late to the party but I couldn't be more happier for Richard It nice to see a nice guy win!!!!! I was happy how they got there sou chefs, It wasn't a popularity contest. I was sure they were editing for Michael to win. I'm so happy for Carla as well, I was so disappointed that Michael pouted when he lost

In the after show it seems like Richard has put on some weight, I bet he can eat his not so nervous lol

I was not a fan of Mike - he was just too cocky for me. I thought his comment at the end was uncalled for.

Richard looked a little rough at the end and like he had lost weight. I bet all the stress was getting to him.

I laughed at Spike playing "spy". He was so obvious!!

I think this was my favorite season of Top Chef. I loved how could see how much many of them had grown as chefs since their seasons and how many of the chefs you really didn't like you came to embrace.

I agree that Jamie was the chef that had been there too long. I had liked her in her season, but not so much this time.

I loved how Tiffany was in the background of the bar with Carla!

I thought it would be Richard too. I am a huge Fabio fan, but this season I thought more people were feeling the Richard love.

Especially after the whole Mike stealing the recipes and just how helpful he had been to the other chefs. He really seemed like he cared how others did and wanted them to do well too. It seemed like he wanted to win on an even playing field is why he was so helpful.

In that live interview after the finale, the host did ask Richard if he gave any of the prize money to Mike. Both Richard and Mike kind of laughed about it and Mike said something along the lines that "all of the shares have been bought up" and Richard said he'll be there for Mike's next restaurant. I guess they both just chalk the offer up to "stuff" said in the heat of the moment.

As far as Elia, they only played a few clipped shots but she was attacking Tom over the beef he uses in his restaurants. They also had a clip of him telling her "it wasn't personal but now you're making it personal". Both Richard and Mike did say it was a very uncomfortable few moments for all of the other cheftestants. I guess I'll need to watch it on Wednesday night.

I loved Tom's comments during deliberations:

Padma: You said Mike's fish was the best you ever had.
Tom: That was before I tasted Richard's.

Can a chef get a better compliment than that? (Except of course for the money? )

I'm so glad for Richard. I really feel that he was the TOP CHEF. I was worried he would overthink and blow it. Very nice. I didn't know he grew up on Long Island (my neck of the woods) have to try and find out exactly where. I really want to try his restaurant Flip Burger.

Mike Isabella I was worried that Mike had all the momentum going his way. I think Mike was very cocky. I also think he was a poor loser.

I'm not a fan of Spike's normally but he really helped Richard alot and I think it is a nice aspect of his personality.

I'm so happy for Carla well deserved.

I disagree about letting Mike's stealing Richard's recipe go. Its plagerism. I think he should have been booted then. I really would like to know what Tom thinks about it.

He's from Uniondale (my hometown too! but I didn't know him)
