Top 5 Disney Dining Recommendations?

We love Napa Rose, but with a child I'd skip it. Do Carthay Circle instead, same head chef, food is very very good, I'd say NR is a tiny bit better, but you won't be dissapointed with Carthay. For Carthay Circle, make your reservation for about 30 minutes before the Pixar Play Parade is scheduled and request to sit out on the patio overlooking Buena Vista Street. Then during dinner your 5yo will be entertained watching the parade, giving you more time to enjoy your food (or watch it as well)! Combine this with a WOC dinner package, and you're golden. There are very few children in the Carthay Circle viewing area, so the adults usually are very nice and let your child slip in front and stand in front of the railing with a perfect view of the show!

This advice is exactly what I give to people! We've done CC WOC dinner twice and have been able to step outside and watch the parade both times. The CMs in the parade know that people watch from the patio and they all look up and interact with people up top.

Maybe the PP thought the BB Fantasmic package was an "on the go" package? It sounded like they meant you have to eat at BB to experience the atmosphere, meaning if you ate their food outside the restaurant it wouldn't be the same as eating AT the restaurant. Which is true. Maybe just a misunderstanding?

There is no way to do the BB package and NOT eat inside BB. It's not grab and go like Aladdin's Oasis. The PP obviously has the wrong information and has never done the BB F! package.

I love the fried green tomato sandwich at Hungry Bear. The lemon cupcakes are good too.

We did the WOC package and had lunch at Carthay Circle. It was great. The food is fabulous, and they had something for our picky 7 year old too. We were actually sitting next to 2 Imagineers having lunch. It was hard not to eavesdrop:)

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was told the Blue Bayou Fantasmic was a dining package to go. I was simply stating that you are missing out on the atmosphere of dining in.
