I don’t think that I’ll be able to get that out of my head gross......
Five and now I’m afraid of lettuce.Honestly, I would be more afraid to buy a bag of lettuce at the grocery store than to eat there.
How many people have died from that lettuce?
I can’t read the article as I’m in the UK, but doesn’t sound good..........
They’ll sort it I’m sure, but ewwwww!!! Never nice to hear of things like that.
How do you get that stuffed resolved same day? It's not Bob's Burgers.
But going forward it will probably be the cleanest restaurant in Orlando.
I think it's best not thinking about too much anywhere. Heck even packaged food is allowed to have up to so many bug parts in it (bleck!). I used to work by an Asian place here in MN and my coworkers and I ate there a few times and really liked it - until the news came out that health inspectors had found either rat or mouse droppings. I don't remember the details of which and of whether it was just in the kitchen or actually in food - I tried hard not to pay close attention or think about it too much so that I wouldn't feel sick! We could never go back...Florida sucks when it comes to restaurant inspections. I don't want to stumble into any political discussions and I like many things about living here. But we're not exactly a state known for prioritizing consumer protection. I notice some states like NC and NY require establishments to post their most recent health inspection grade at the entrance. That was voted down here many years ago.
I once had a bad experience with takeout food (bugs - yuck!) and after calling and getting an indifferent reaction from the restaurant, I researched them online in the state database and discovered this restaurant had quite a few past violations. So I filed a report with the health inspection agency. Just like before, I think they were shut down for a day or two, then reopened. No lasting impact.
I do adore dining out. I just try not to think too much about what's going on in the kitchen!
But I totally agree with a poster above - places like UO, WDW and bigger restaurant chains are more cognizant of the bad publicity - they'll clean up their act fast.
