Tooth Fairy forgot to come last night!!!

DD #2 lost another tooth!! I wasn't feeling well and went to bed shortly after her, thinking I would get up soon and do the "tooth fairy" thing.............well..............I fell asleep and DH forgot!!

Rachel was such a trooper this morning and figured it was just way toooooooo cold for the tooth fairy to come in her tutu without tights!!!

Tooth fairy will be extra generous tonight!!!

Wow, that tooth fairy is getting forgetful in her old age....same thing happened at my house about a year ago.

But she always makes up for her mistakes with extra generosity, doesn't she?

That happened to a friend of mine last week. Not only did she forget the first night, she forgot the second night as well. Luckily something jarred her awake that next morning and she ran to take care of her duties as her daughter was waking up.....she gave her a big hug and slipped the goods under the pillow just in time.

I think the TF did that about five times over the years here. The TF always feels mortified, LOL.

Our DD lost her 2nd tooth about a week ago - DH was supposed to put the money under her pillow before he went to bed(I was working) - I called around 6am to see if he remembered and he said yes - but DD woke up and saw him - he told her that he heard something and was coming into check and must of scared the TF but he found this($5.00 - what was he thinking) on the floor in her room - Well DD being rather smart said "oh no Dad thats my money from my bank I think?" - DH not wanting to spoil the whole TF thing for her told her she could put the tooth back under her pillow that night and the TF would probably come back -Everyone following this - Okay next night dgt in bed DH sneaks into room gently lifts pillow - WHAT no tooth? - not knowing what to do he leaves ANOTHER $5.00 for her - next morning DD says to DH and I look - showing us the money - AND the tooth - and says If I keep putting the tooth in a different hiding spot will the TF keep coming and leaving me money until she finds it? Well $10.00 for one tooth later we now have a TF jar that when either child loses a tooth the tooth goes in and is placed on the bedside table.

Are you sure she forgot? Maybe it fell on the floor under the bed or is inside the pillow case! That happened here 2 times! Luckily I found it!

Bibidi.............she immediately looked under her other pillow and on the floor..........plain and simple........I screwed up!!

This one is gonna cost me $5.00!! Rachel also said that alot of kids in her school were losing teeth and maybe the tooth fairy was so busy here and plus it was so cold she will have to come back tonight.

I am so lucky to have such a sweet beautiful daughter!!

Glad to know this isn't the only tooth fairy to mess up!!

Thanks for all your support. I think it hurt me more than her!

We thought that had happened to my son once, turns out that the money had just fallen between the mattress and the wall. We found it!

OMG yasuern...that is hilarious!!!! Bet that tooth fairy learned HIS lesson!!!!! ROFL

We were at a hotel one time when dd lost one of her teeth, shortly after either dh and I were married or just before (I can't remember) and the male tooth fairy thought it was great to be able to "participate" and "OVERPAID" on the TF duties!!!!! After that dd thought she was getting that amount EVERY time she lost a tooth - well the funny thing is the female tooth fairy had left just a $1 and the male tooth fairy has left $5!!!!!!! It was funny - fortunately she didn't have many more teeth to lose after that!!!

My brother once found an old animal skull behind the house in the woods he pried the teeth out of that and tried to use those for the tooth fairy!

Tooth fairy forgot here once too! She remembered during breakfast. Luckily ds forgot to check when he got up. We put the tooth in a glass of water here. Coins go in the water, bills underneath.

And I thought I was the only one forgetting.....I did that TWICE this year already!!
But at least DD knows TF does not work when it snows, LOL.
Anyway she knows the TF sometimes does not take the tooth because since she's in the dark she can't see too well but she does leave the money, darn she's been loosing so many teeth lately that the TF is going broke! and she just showed me tonight, another one is wiggling, she just lost two since Christmas!! HELP!!
