I got a new pair of sneakers last week, and I guess that are like ice skate when they are wet.
The floor at work is slippery when wet, and we all know this. Yesterday, out of nowhere comes a torrential downpour like no other. I deliver pizza. The typhoon started as I was driving to a lacross game to deliver 15 pizzas. Did I get a little wet? No, just drenched.
I returned to the store, stepped in, took three steps toward the computer to check myself in, and BAM. I am on the floor. I landed on my knee and scraped it, and my hands hurt from breaking my fall. My boss was all upset, and concerned, and I was just embarrassed. Forget the knee, the fat girl just fell.
