i will be a 16 year old girl on my next trip to WDW.
i was thinking of getting an autograph book and getting autographs. do you think i'm too old and it will look silly?
thanks.

That's the thing about WDW: you're never too old! I've seen 60 year olds getting autographs and posing for pictures with characters. At your age, it is actually on the trendy side!

I love the characters and I don't care if I look stupid hugging the characters or getting autographs.

Not at all! The last time I was there, my friend and I both were getting as many autographs as we could! It was a big part of our trip, we booked several character meals and would meet anybody in the parks that we could find! :goodvibes

No. Grab and autograph book and have fun! PS The character handlers have a cheat sheet of when and where the characters will be in the park if you are looking for a specific one.

Thanks for the quick replies!
i'll probably get an autograph book because i haven't gotten autographs since i was about 5 or 6.

No....you will see people of all ages from 3 to 103 getting autographs from the characters. If you begin to feel self conscious, just remind yourself that you will never see any of these people again. :thumbsup2

We took a 13 year old boy to Disney a few years ago. He was so funny trying to act "cool":cool2: the entire trip. One day we were watching the parade and Tigger came by and hugged him. He was soo excited he couldn't contain himself. He looked at me and said "OMG! I just got hugged by Tigger!" Yup, he actually giggled! :laughing:It was so stinkin cute! He eventually collected himself and switched back to "cool":cool2: mode...but I saw the "magic" sneak up on a 13 year old boy. ;) My point is, you are never too young to feel the Disney magic. I would most definately get the autograph book. :goodvibes

you are never too old at Disney. I am 53 and I love the characters and I stood in line for 2 hours to see Tink, my sweet husband stood with me

My 15 year old Niece will be getting autographs in 10 days.... she made her own book.

Have fun!

No way-I'm 29 and made my own autograph book and got tons of pictures and autographs. Perfectly ok!

the character will sign what ever you want(within reason).dw has an over the shoulder type book bag with several years worth of signatures.we carry it on every trip and if we come across someone we dont have we get in line.most cm have a black sharpie to sign with but we try to take our own just in case.this past trip we picked up a wdw sweatshirt for a friend and got it started for her with several characters.it looks really cool, all the signatures are on the back and are large enough to see and read.i like hats and have had several with mickey and one with belle.we stand in line with kids or not,we just enjoy it.

I'm 22 and bring my autograph book with me every time I go! I also have a friend whose mother got autographs when she went on her 40th birthday, so you're never too old.

You would actually be very surprised at how diverse the ages of the people are getting autographs. Just look when you're there and you'll see what I'm talking about :)

No way! You are never too old for autographs and photos. My boys (15 and 17)think they are too old, but my daughter (13 now) and I (almost 44) don't miss a chance for a signature. Have fun!

If I told my Dear Son 17 RIGHT NOW>..that he would have to get Character Autographs during our next visit? HE WOULD LOVE THAT !

He would ham it up and LOVE it.....

WDW is a STATE of MIND!

Hugs....Have a magical visit!

Mary

Why not? If you don't want to do an autograph book, get autographs on other things -- tshirts, purses, etc.... Just can't be wearing it when it's signed.

I'm 50 and still get autographs. I didn't even get my first one till I was in my 30s and after that trip I was hooked.

There's nothing like playing around with the characters at any age!
