Too Much of a Discount?

I am staying at POFQ, May 27-June 3. When I checked online with Disney, including tax, the room would cost $1523.67

I called CRO and asked for the AAA rate during the same time frame. The room came to $1,022.00

I've booked it and since joined AAA, but I feel like this is too big of a discount. Am I right or doing my math wrong?

The difference may be that the online quote was a water view and the quote over the phone was a standard view.

Did you make sure that (if you are getting it) your dining is included??

I just did a quick check on the disney site and came up with a price of $1365.98 for a water view, and $1209.88 for a standard view. So the AAA price sounds right around the ballpark of 15% off a standard view.

When we priced our package at POR from AAA it was about a $600 difference...we realized that what we had priced on Disney website was a preferred room...what we got from AAA was a standard. We still saved like $300 using AAA!
