We are planning a Thanksgiving trip. My Daughter wants Thanksgiving Dinner with Mickey, so I thought Chef Mickey's.

These are my other thoughts for the week:
Tusker House-B
RainForest Cafe-D
Sci-Fi - D
Princess Dinner(Norway) - D
Chef Mickey - D -Thanksgiving day
1900 Park Fare - B (last day)

I still need one ADR for Epcot......does this look like too many character meals?

Some say there are never enough character meals. Me, I have 2 kids 4 & 6, and out of 13 dinners we only have 2 character meals booked. It is up to you. If you love characters meals than maybe not. But, you know your family so go by that. Whatever you decide have a wonderful vacation!!:goodvibes

I have Character breakfasts booked every morning for my trip plus a charactere dinner at LTT - is that overkill or what? My son will almost be 2 at the time and it's his first trip to Disney. I think the character interactions will be one of the highlights for him and character meals are a nice way to do it. Plus I figure seeing the characters will occupy him and he will be less restless at the meals.

Most of the character meals are buffets or family style and I prefer breakfast because there's not much you can do to ruin breakfast food plus I don't mind a buffet for breakfast.

It's up to you how many character meals you want. If your daughter will enjoy them - then why not.

One note: My SIL just came back from Disney and did Chef Mickey for dinner and was very disappointed with the food. It was their least favorite place to eat. So you may want to check out what they do for Thanksgiving - you may want to consider Liverty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving. It's a character meal and it's family style instead of buffet. You'll see Goofy and Minnie - not sure if Mickey is always there. They usually serve turkey, ham, roast beef and all the trimmings. My sister went here and said it was very good - that's why I'm going my next trip. Plus it may be more in the Thanksgiving feel.
