Too many snack credits

There's a little kiosk just outside of France. Walking from England, it'll be on your left side across from Les Chefs de France.

Thanks I know where that kiosk is, got to try one in June or better yet when we return for the bounce back in steamy hot September.

Rice Crispy Mickey treats travel very well. There are two kinds out there. One is completely commercial, and comes in a sealed package. The Mickey Face is plain Rice Crispy and the ears are dipped in chocolate. These can be found in about any gift shop, including the shops that are as you exit rides.

The BETTER Crispy treat (IMO) is a fresh one. Same thing, plain face, chocolate ears (sometimes sprinkles and sometimes no sprinkles) There is a stick at the bottom of Mickey's face and a twist tie holding the plastic bag around him. Not quite as sealed, but still travels well in a stroller (a theory I've road tested myself)

I've found these at Goofy's in DTD, Main St Bakery (MK) and Liberty Inn (WS Epcot)

THANKS!!!!!!:thumbsup2

I think they should come up with a 2nd tier for snack credits (like 2 ts meals)

2 SC - Grand Marnier Slush:woohoo:

I'd be all over that!!!( and be usin up all my family's SC on myself!!!)

You are really trying to confuse the CMs:rotfl:

definately trade a CS or 2 for one of those:cloud9:

imho, real food is grossly overrated anyway;)

WE used a lot of our snack credits for bottled water and drinks. The very last day we had 4 left and used it for drinks for the airport.

We ran out of snack credits mid way through our trip using the basic plan-bottled drinks and popcorn mostly. We use the Deluxe plan in May so double the snack credits-yeah! Maybe because we didn't look at like we were "wasting" a snack credit on a single serve item, we used them up??

I'm having a hard time believing that we could ever have to many snack credits. Isn't a bottle of water 1 snack credit? Even with the Deluxe Plan that's still only 2 snack credits a day. I know my 64 year old Aunt will need more than 2 bottles of water a day alone.

Is there any way to transfer any of those snack credits that people don't think they will use over to the rest of us?:rotfl2:
I'll be going in June and Sept. so send all your unused credits my way.

Did anyone else have too many snack credits left over? I had about 12 on my last day. It was really difficult to find things to take home since they have that stupid one serving rule in place. Under $4 should have been a snack credit IMO even if it was a larger serving. If I could do it over again we would have used more of the snack credits in the parks. We just weren't hungry enough for each member in our family to get one thing so we would buy one or two and share. Just curious how everyone else felt about this.

What rule do you mean? I've never heard of a one serving rule? :confused3

I don't know about the deluxe plan as I haven't used it yet, but when Dh and I were on basic dining, we always wished we did have more snack credits since we always used our snacks for breakfast and then we wished we had for for drinks, or an ice cream in the parks.

I was on the basic DP, and we considered our Snack Credits to be meals as well. We would use two CS and two snacks for breakfast (for a family of four) and two CS and two snacks for lunch. Then we'd use our 4 TS for dinner.

On the last day we happened to have two snacks left over - Mickey Crispy Treats for the flight home!

Personally,I would never use snack credits on beverages - I can easily bring my own bottled water and save the snack credits for actual food.

We would get a box of donuts some mornings and that would be our breakfast, so now we cannot get the box with a snack credit because it is more then 1 serving. So I will OOP the boxes of donuts this year. I guess that is want they wanted to do, do away with using the SC for breakfast. I guess if I get a school bread over at Kringla Bakeri and cut it in half to share the SNACK POLICE will be after me?:rotfl2:
Yes the DDP looks less and less likely for us after this year also.

The $4 rule was never official. The dining brochure listed a half dozen or so items that are included. The brochure went on to say additional covered items would be identified with the ddp logo on the menu board. The brochure made mention that snacks were "single serving".

I was surprised a large bottle of milk and box of donuts were included for as long as they were.

Yes but I used the left over snacks for mickey mouse rice krispy treats to bring home to my grandkids. WE also used the snacks for the small plastic tubs of cotton candy at Goofys kitchen.

There are 4 of us going for 12 days on teh deluxe plan. that is 96 credits if I did my math right. I know there is no way to eat that much but I have had friends ask me to bring back pretzel sticks and rice krispe ears for their kids. Last time we had tons of CS meals left and Mara let me use 1 CS for 4 snacks. I still have packages of mints from that trip. Don't think they do that any more tho.

Well, if we hadn't bought water & Gatorade ahead of time and used snack credits for drinks, we would've way run out of SC's. But, I'm pretty sure we spent less on those than we would've otherwise - and it is a heck of a lot more fun to use the snack credits on stuff like ice cream than water!

But I don't want to carry extra water around, I want to just buy it when I want to drink it and be done with it.

We didn't waste any snack credits or ts credits. everyday in the parks I called my two teenage sons and told them stop and get a drink or frozen coke use those snack credits. When I was with my little girl I would say lets stop for some ice cream or frozen lemonade and I would just get a diet coke. We had two different reservations so we we ended up getting 8 mugs wow. I had to use some snack credits up. So I let my daughter get a choc rice krispie treat mickey ear thing and some princess chocolates. She said mommy these are expensive I said no worries you can get them we have snack credits left. she is 7 how precious was that.
