Too Long!

RRRRGH! My next Disney trip is in 4 months...and I can't wait! Have any ideas how to pass the time? Please! HELP ME!!!

Make a paper chain loop and tear a loop off for each day. That is what we do! Read, read, read the boards and make a list of places to eat, details to see, stuff to do, things to buy, what to pack, how to haul it, what to wear, what kind of shoes to get...........

I love the paper chain idea! (LOL...im gonna have to have a PRETTY LONG chain to do that!)

Or...you could be me, the Minster, and have almost a whole year to go. And truly I am ecstatic that we are now under the year mark!!!

Back in Chicago, before we moved down here, I used to visit the Disney Store at the nearest mall. They always had a video showing the different parks and I used to stand there for quite some time just watching it. Helped me get my "fix" until the next trip.

Also remember at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg (outside Chicago) they used to have a Florida store (perhaps they still do). Anyway, it always gave the temp. in Orlando for that day so we knew what we had to look forward to. Always came home with the new brochures to look over while waiting.

do you have the planning video? if not, then order it and watch it. i love watching it. also if you have travel channel watch the specials they do on disney world.

We have a paper chain, each link has a Disney character on it. It's hanging in my kitchen and I swear it's growing by itself. Everyday we take a link off, but it's not getting any shorter. LOL

I hate the waiting. My planning is just about all done. I've read 3 WDW books. Check the boards daily. We've watched of past WDW trip videos hundreds of times and it's still going too slow.

My dd keeps asking if today is the day we go to Disney and then proceeds to say please, please, please, please, PLEASE!

To pass time and keep busy we:

Make Priority Seating
Watch the vacation planning videos
Read Birnbaums and Passporter
Read sites like Deb's and DIS
We have a 2 year old daughter and she loves the Disney Sing a Long videos from WDW such as Beach Party at WDW, Campout at WDW, Flik's Musical Adventure and Happy Haunting (Disneyland). They have footage from various places around WDW.
Watch old video from previous trips and look at pictures
Watch Disney movies such as Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc.
I start buying toiletries and small surprise Disney themed toys/stickers (to keep our daughter occupied on plane and in lines) in advance and put them away until it's time to pack
