Too late to book?

We have decided, in the 11th hour, to plan a trip Oct. 7-14. Would it be possible to book a studio anywhere? We have never used our points at a DVC resort before. I plan on calling in the morning. Does anyone know my odds of being successful? We realize we can't be picky on where we stay. Thanks!

I would think your chances are pretty good since you're willing to stay at any resort. Let us know how it goes with MS in the morning. We went last year during that time and we didn't make our arrangements until July 1st.

I imagine there will be a slim chance you can get it somewhere, but my guess would be that you can't get it all in one place and that you'll have to split your stay or go on the waitlist. I'd be curious to hear what you're able to book. I'm on the waitlist for many of those nights at the BWV. I still don't have anything for the 8th and I've been on the waitlist for a while. Of course, there's still time for cancellations by then. That's what I'm hoping for.

I'd guess you could probably get your dates at OKW or SSR, but I imagine there are quite a few people on waitlists at BWV and BCV because of F&WF.

I have my week (Oct 8-13) booked in a studio at OKW and waitlisted for a studio (any view) at BWV. I'm waitlisted for the entire week (not doing day-by-day) so I'm pretty sure I won't get it, but you never know. Someone that has a ressie at VWL could cancel, which someone at BCV is waitlisted for, which would open up rooms at BCV to be filled by someone waitlisted with a ressie at BWV, which would open up a room for our waitlist.... wishful thinking eh?

Yeah, or my sister could decide to not come to WDW (parish the thought) and that would free up the PV BWV studio I have for Oct. 9-12. I know that's not your whole week, but you never know.
