too late for July?

We have never tried for the summer at DVC (except HH) and we have always reserved right at the 11 month or 7 month window. Is this too late to get something for July? We could do a 2BR or 2 Studios. Anyone have any luck reserving this late for the summer? I know I should just call but I was wondering if I had any chance this late. We would be willing to take any of the resorts.

I think you will be fine. We have done it, but we have not been able to get BWV or VWL. If you are Ok with OKW and SSR, I think you will be fine. Good luck.

I don't think it will be a problem. As long as you are flexible. I called 3 months out for end of July (2 yrs ago) and got a 1 br BWV (took what was available). That same trip I booked BCV 5 months out , studio (my 1st choice). Last year we stayed at SSR (my 1st choice)on the 4th of July week and maybe called 5 months out. I love them all so I hardly ever plan 7 months out. There is always the waiting list. I hear it works well. Good luck!

I just booked (about 3 hours ago) a 1br at VWL for July 8 - 13. Also available during that time were studios, 1br, and 2br at OKW and SSR and a 1br preferred view at BWV. Nothing was available at BCV.

I booked on Saturday for July 8-12 a studio at SSR - BCW/BWV studios were not available (didn't expect them, but I'm on the waitlist). 1BR WAS available at Boardwalk as of this morning for those dates.

Hi, I also booked last week BCV June 29 and 30th Studio (waitlisted for the 27th and 28th) Then I booked OKW 2 Bedroom for July1-6. GET CALLING!! Good Luck! Joan

I booked at SSR (our home resort) for a studio about two weeks ago. This was our first ressie as DVC members. There wasn't a problem. Good luck!

I just need to find out if my daughter got into a camp. IF she doesn't make it then I will be on the phone! I would love for her to make it but I would also love another trip to DW!

We went last year during the 4th of July week. Called and made our reservations on 3 weeks notice.
