Too early to plan for 2012, or am I just bored??

Sorry to be the barer of bad news Wookie, but I think they are shutting down Snow White for good THIS Spring as part of the Fantasy Land refurb. They are going to turn it into a 1 stop meet n greet with all the princesses.

The early 2012 was just a date that was thrown around in a thread about the closing of SWSA. If it's closed when we are there, that's fine. As long as I get to go to WDW, I'll be happy. I'm thinking about changing to to January for school reasons anyway. I'm currently only taking 2 classes per semester. Our semester is broken up into 2- 8 week sessions, and I only take 1 class per session. I told my DH that once we got back from WDW, that I would start taking 12 credit hours per semester. If we go in January, I can start taking 12 credit hours in March. We usually have a new semester starting around the beginning of March. Also, it doesn't hurt that it would shorten my ticker by a lot. Instead of leaving out on the day of our oldest son's bday, we could leave out on the day that our youngest turns 13. Then we can be at WDW for his bday (January 8th) and mine (January 10th), which was the original idea for the trip anyway.

I have been planning this trip for 4 years now..haha! We were supposed to go in 2009, but I ended up filing for divorce. Then my DD and I were supposed to go this summer but we are moving to California and I am getting married. Sooooo...2012 will be THE year!

And now I have just have to convince my soon-to-be-hubby that Disney is where its at He's geeky and loves animation, so this should be easy.

Plans so far:
Staying at Pop because DD LOVES that place, but I am hoping to for AKL. We shall see. It's not like I don't have time to plan. And I am sure there will be TONS of changes.
We will definitely do the dining plan since my fiance loves to eat and if the budget allows, the deluxe dining plan. I haven't decided on how many days. It all depends on my future employment. Hopefully the job gods are good to me Our dates depend on if I get hired on at the school district down where I am moving, it will have to be summer. If not, we are thinking September. Either way....WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!!

I'm 100 days away from our 1st trip and I'm already thinking about when we can go next! I've been thinking about planning our next trip for either late 2012 or early 2013... I really need to stop these thoughts until after I'm done with THIS trip! hehehe!

I'm totally there in planning for next year. I have my trip planned for late this fall with my mom. We have done our last 3 trips together and thought we were due for one this year.....yeah!!!!! Our last trip we trick or treated through MK.....this year...it's gonna be Christmas in the parks Can't wait.

BUT I am also starting to plan my November 2012 trip with my sister in law. She has NEVER been. What is that?? I can't wait. It will be super exciting to watch her experience the magic

I'm planning our May 2012 trip! We are going the week before Memorial Day. DS and I went that same week last year for his 13th b-day. It was a mother/son trip and we had a BLAST! This next trip will be wonderful too...it will be DD's first trip!!! And in a way, DH's too! He has been to WDW once and that was 30 something years ago! We are hoping to stay at the CR, but if I can't swing that (pin PLEASE!!!!), we will stay at POFQ. DS and I stayed at CBR and liked it, but it is too spread out for me with a 3 year old! We have already decided on where we want our ADR's and are "training" DD for Disney! She loves watching the shows on Travel Channel and I just got the new planning DVD in the mail today! I know what we will be watching tonight! HURRY UP MAY 2012 AND GET HERE!!!

We have been back a month now and I'm already thinking about 2012. End of Jan or 1st week in Feb is my favorite time. Hope to stay at a Mod next time as the Brazilizn group at ASMusic was too much. We loved ASMusic except for that. Also would like the pool at a Mod more. My GS who is 10 wants CBR, I like POR. We will have to decide. We have stayed at CBR and POFQ and loved them both.I like the boat to DTD from PO and I don't like that you have to checkin at Custom House at CBR and then walk to your room. Hoping for FD or a good discount again so we can make it all work.

Planning a trip for Nov 2012. This will more then likely be our last big trip as a whole family. My oldest will be 16 at the time of our trip.

For this trip I am planning BIG! I already have my TA aware of our plans and our dates for 2012 and were we want to stay, Bay Lake Tower. As soon as Disney allows, she is going to get us booked. I'm getting my foot in the door, way before the door is even opened. I want to make sure to get what I want for this trip. Have alot of things planned, just hope everything works out.

I just got back the last week of april and I am trying to plan for summer of 2012. I am really going back and forth on resorts. And of course praying for some sort of discount!!

I can't wait to go back. DS and I had such an amazing time!!

October 14-26, 2012 here with a possibility of 2 days in Miami first. Staying at SSR for the first 6-7 nights, trying to come to a concensus on the last 5-6 nights. This is a gift for my DD's bat mitzvah.

One of us will get an AP, either DH or myself, and take advantage of the TiW card.

My DS will be in High School next year and his marching band will be playing at the Gatorbowl parade and halftime show on Jan 2. I just have to squeeze a few days at WDW in while we are so close. Of course, it is the most expensive time to go. And probably the most crowded. At least we won't have to worry about the heat. The last time we went was the last week of June through the 4th of July. Super hot and crowded!

I have never been at Christmas time and so excited to see Cinderella's castle lit up with the beautiful Christmas lights.

I am going to have to pinch my pennies to save up for this trip!

I would love to extend our vacation to the first week of January but unfortunately, I am a teacher and have to be back on the fourth.
If I could go the first week of January it would be in the value season instead of Holiday season prices.
