Wondering how really bad Tony's is? We are planning on a late lunch there on our MK day, wondering if anyone who has eaten there could give us a quick review? I have heard bad and middling for the most part, but we wanted something substantial near the front of the park. After lunch we plan to pick up our wristband for MNSSHP, so figured this was a short walk :). Are there any recommendations as to something good on the menu? The more I hear, the more worried I become .

Thanks!:goodvibes

We have been to Tony's, and I have to say, we were not very impressed. The food was mediocre and the atmosphere was nothing to write home about. You can pick up your wristbands to the party at 4:00 (I believe). I would almost recommend getting your wristband early and them go eat somewhere else in the park or even jump on the monorail and go to the Ohana's at the Polynesian. Honestly, we are not too impressed with the sit down restaurants at the MK. Good luck and have a blast at MNSSHP. We LOVE it!!

We ate there in June, for dinner. It wasn't a memorable meal, nothing horrible, nothing great. I do recall my meal wasn't good but I wasn't really hungry as I ordered the caesar salad (very good) and bruschetta for apps. We skipped dessert and opted for ice cream at the Parlor. The atmosphere was ....eh..my kids don't know Lady and the Tramp so it was more for me and I wasn't impressed. If I didn't have the meal plan, I wouldn't go there again. However, the location is nice. We discovered the little side stores next to Tony's - cute.

Last ate there in July '08. WE both found the food good. The chicken parm was decent. Not the worst ever, not the best ever.

we ate there in 05 and loved it so we rebooked for aprils trip for a lunch. i wasn't impressed this time at all. the food wasn't all that bad, but i didn't like mine, can't remember what hubby had, but he didnt eat it all. worst off was the waitress didnt even offer us dessert. she brought out a bday ice cream sunday for ds, and one for dd as part of her meal. as for dh and i she gave us a spoon each and expected us to share with ds. um yeah he wasn't too impressed! lol not to mention im not a fan of chocolate sauce! so that kinda ruined it for me....i mean would it have killed her to bring a dessert menu or ask us what we'd like for dessert? guess so. : (

We ate there summer of 08. The food was ok, nothing special. About what I can make at home honestly. Our server was horrible, but I won't usually hold that against a restuarant. Honestly I would go somewhere else, it was nice to try it out but it was just no where near our top picks.

My hubby and I had a wonderful dinner at Tony's... our server went out of his way to make our meal special (it was our anniversary) even though it was packed when we went. I had the chicken parm and thought it was very good (and I'm picky). We're going for lunch this year because we enjoyed it so much!
