O.K. I went there a few years back when the CP was being refurbished and the characters were at Tony's. We actually had a great meal there. Now, it seems like it gets terrible reviews. I noticed that it is one the the "best values" on the dining plan but is it worth it? I am all for getting the most out of the plan...but I do not want to eat there if it is going to be yucky! :rolleyes2 Would it be better to leave the MK and go over to the Concourse or Kona's?

Thanks!

I ate there last trip and didn't like the food at all. Mediocre. I've had two meals at Kona Cafe (breakfast) and both were great.

I ate there one Halloween and got the Salmon and I have to say it was delicious :thumbsup2

Tony's always seems to get terrible reviews, so we've managed to avoid it until last year. The food was OK, not terrible, and the service was great for us. We were very surprised by the ambience. We went in with low expectations, and were very pleasantly surprised. We LOVED the window with Lady and Tramp!

Our first dinner at DIsney is ALWAYS at Tony's. It was the first place my hubby and I every ate at so it's a sweet spot for us. I am a very picky eater. Let's just say if it doesn't involve chicken I'm not eating it lol anyway, I wanted chicken parm but it wasn't on the menu. I asked the server if they had it anymore. He asked the chef and guess what i had for dinner lol. The chef made it special for me. So needless to say we love that place.

Thanks guys...I'll have to think about this one! :surfweb:

We usually go there for a late lunch and request a table outside....that way we can view the afternoon parade as it goes by. Is it the greates food? Probably not....but for us, a nice relaxing lunch on that porch watching the parade go by is a really nice treat!!!!

We ate lunch here in November. We loved the theme and the decorations and the service was very good. The food was good not great bbut very good. Hot, fresh, plentiful. My kids (10 and 13) loved the baked ziti. i had some sort of chicken sandwich thing witha salad and it was wonderful. My Ds did not care for the first thing he ordered and they quickly brought him some baked ziti. All in all, thought it was worth the money and probably would eat there again.

We ate at Tony's on our last trip out of desperation (you know: we were tired, hungry, and irritable--and their wait was not that long). The food was mediocre, although I do remember liking the chicken caesar salad and cappuccino that I had. My mom and dad thought that their pasta dishes were bland and overpriced, the salads were crisp and fresh, and the bread was good. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. Nothing we had was GREAT, but nothing was HORRIBLE, either. :p

I just ate lunch their in Dec, and thought it was excellent. Nice, big portions, and excellent service. I had some pumpkin brulee for dessert, and it was also excellent.

We will definatley go back on our next trip.
