On the last night of our 12 day trip we'll be going back to the MK for Wishes and the parade. We're trying to decide on a ADR. We really don't want a character meal for that last night.

Option 1 - Tony's at 5:05 - We get back into the park relatively early, get to go on a couple of rides before we stake out our place for the parade and fireworks. We'll have to get a child meal for DS2 who doesn't have dining credits on the DDP, so it costs a little more. We're a little worried by the reviews.

Option 2 - Cape May Cafe' at 5:30. We'll be staying at the BW at that time, so it's an easy walk over. We won't get back to MK until at least 7:30 - 8, so there won't be a whole lot of time for anything other than the parade and Wishes. Kids under 3 eat free at buffets, so a little cheaper.

The other ressies we have:
Kona for dinner
Coral Reef for dinner
Chef Mickey's for breakfast
Whispering Canyon for lunch
Garden Grill for lunch
Le Cellier for dinner
CRT for breakfast
Spoodles for dinner

Any opinions or other ideas? Ohana is booked.

I think if your plan is to go back to MK - your best option thus far is Tony's. I did not find eating lunch there in 2006 to be all that bad. Of course, I just had a salad and a panini...but to get the most of out of your time, that looks to be your best bet. Did you try Crystal Palace for dinner??? Or, maybe considering the Grand Floridian Cafe?? The GF cafe is a really nice option.

I am in the minority but I really enjoyed Tonys. I pick Tonys.

We really like Cape May but our last 2 experiences with it at 5:30, right when they open, have not been good. You see, they put the food out at 5 (we sat in the area and watched them set it up) so it is cold and dry by the time you get it. We are going back in Oct so I am making our ADR for 6:30 or so...give them time to replenish the food a bit.

Thanks for the input - that's good to know about the buffet at Cape May. For those that have been, am I safer ordering non-Italian dishes at Tony's to avoid dissapointment? I've seen reviews before saying that the steak was decent, etc. but can't think of one that said, "That was some good Italian food!"

I'm kind of surprised that nobody said to do Cape May. Any other opinions?

I like Cape May - I just thought with your focus on MK, you may want to reside close to the Magic Kingdom itself or the MK resort area to remain close the park. When I have stayed at the Beach Club, I have eaten there - and enjoyed the buffet. I was just focusing on location.
